Three Batman Begins Sequels....!! Straight from David Goyer's Mouth!!

I was looking for old sequel news cuz theres no new things about. I found it on BOF.
This was reported: November, 9th 2004, so its darn old and we have heard news to the contrary it would be a trilogy, but a quadriloy im all for it!!!! :up:

I'll say this--the only thing that is going to keep WB from greenlighting a sequel is BATMAN BEGINS sucking major ass and tanking at the box office—which isn’t going to happen. Despite his statement that the Net sequel rumors are untrue, Goyer had this to say, "We definitely set it up and kind of provided Warner Bros. a rough plan of what the next three movies would be. So it's not like we'll do one and then figure on the next. There is a road map of what the next three movies would be and who the various characters would be."

yah, months before Batman Begins became a huge box office hit,

so it might sound a little farfetched back than like ya only if it does well in BO, and it did. It makes more sense now than it did months before the movie came out..

If they've got a worthy story to tell that fits well with the events of the previous films and if the same team is behind it, I'm all for a fourth one.

I want Harvey to be scarred by the end of the second movie. Maybe show him running from the hospital, but the anticipation for the third movie will be so high if people are given that glimpse.

As for this news, I'm all for it. The more movies the better, as long as they're better than Begins.

Four MOvies would be so much better than 3, because Trilogy's are cliche Quadrilogys arent/ and there is so much to tell in the Batman world especailly in Batman's early days, what the trilogy is about.

We also need a movie to tie up all the loose ends of the first one and the other movies, like what happened to Ducard/Ghul?

Ducard/ Ghul is dead. If he isn't, I will laugh. Yeah, R'as is immortal in the comics, but you can't use the Lazarus pit in the sequel. This is all filtered through the real world, it'd be just as ridiculous for him to have jumped off the train.

I'm saying that he could have died, but Talia could come into the final movie she comes to Gotham after she learns that he father has been killed.

Ghul could be dead, but there still is Talia.........

Talia could cometo Gotham to get revenge on batman, but she falls in love with Bruce Wayne....that would be great to see. :up:

Wait, I just realized this quote is pre-Begins. That means when he says "the next 3 movies" he means Batman Begins and it's 2 sequels. Of course, that doens't mean there couldn't be more, just that they aren't specificially planned yet.
