Your thoughts?

As for me, I think Joker will have not so much scenes, but he will be very effective, unusual and creepy in them.

JokerNick is gonna get probation if he doesnt edit his post...

As far as small as the Joker part will be? I think his screen time will be fairly minimal but he will drastically impact the story.

why are there so many joker threads? doesn't anybody care about what happens to batman in this movie?

I don't expect Joker to get anything more than 20 minutes of the film. He won't get the screentime that Nicholson got for the Joker, that's for sure.

I hope he has a lot. Not as much as Bats, but 2nd most.

He will get enough screen time. He's the main villian for Pete's sake.

Batman-On-Film
--------

"As for the villains plot, the mob boss and the heir get involved with a major arms deal with the 'British Guy,' while Batman and his allies attempt to foil it. [As a result,] they uncover more of the corruption plauging Gotham. Unfortunatly for both sides, nobody knew there was a Joker in the deck who complicates matters."

- "The Joker will be the central villain, although he isn't directly connected to the other 'villain plots.'"
---

SO I think the Joker will be the MAIN villain but will be in the shadows, but he is a villai enough to be captured at the end and stand for trial.

Sounds pretty cool. I hope they also focus on the crime families possible fueds or alliances. It's a new interesting angle that, IMO, was set up in BB.

He should be like Hannibal Lecter in Silence of the Lambs. Very small, but very important.

Joker, possibly penguin, possibly Alberto Falcone and other crime bosses, possibly black mask...those are the ones that are rumored right now.

and CinemaMan:

You do realize that sice you created a Joker thread (even though it wasn't about Heath Ledger) you have given up all right to get angry at all new threads now right? :p

I think The Joker should kill The Scarecrow with his laughing gas. "I'll be the one who passes the gas around here! Ha-he-ha-ha-ha!"

His part will be of average size. Somewhere around 5 - 6 inches.

Lol I like it. I honestly do like it. And Joker could take the fear gas and being a former chemist he could alter it into a laughing gas.

Just a thought...

I can't say I'm pleased that they went for sex over acting skills when casting Joker.

I suggested in my Two Face thread that Joker will be caught in the opening of the second film and put on trial during the movie. TwoFace emerges from the movie as the main villain after the acid incident at the trial. And Joker escapes in the ending and returns again for three.

Miller's comics are full of source material for Two Face and Batman and Bruce's relationship with Dent.

Somewhere in there, lots of salvia hallucinations thanks to the Scarecrows chemicals making these characters just that much darker.

I actually considered saying "just ask Jake Gyllenhaal", but decided against it after being upset over all the Brokeback jokes.

I think it wil be more like the Scarecrows part was in Batman Begins which is good enough for me.

Batman should be the main focus of these set of films not the villians, we already got that with the Burton/Schumacher films.
