um, wow. ok, so if this is true, i'm all about getting blob, she-hulk, quick silver, and yellow jacket. but this would seem to be a really big wave. And i'm interested in seeing what the danger room will look like.

I'm not happy about thor, wolverine, X3 dark phoenix.

And i dont know how i feel about magneto as zorn, astonishing cyclops, storm.

I can't wait to see transforming sandman though.

i know the thor is legit. i've seen pictures. it's a repaint of the WM thor. And wolverine looks like a brown repaint of astonishing wolverine. and i'm not happy about them at all. and of course they'll make blob the BAF cause i really want blob and they'll do it to piss me off. But you're right, it's a lot of figures. But i'm suprised the hype would let them post that if it weren't partially true. Maybe it is all of series two and some of a series 3? i dont know.

I'm hoping we're getting a Danger Room set, not Danger. Cause for a ten figure wave, I expect a Giant Man sized BAF, not a small guy like Blob. Not that I don't want Blob, I just think he would be better in a 6 figure wave, not 10.

Happy we're finally getting Quicksilver, She-Hulk, and Blob. Also interested in Xorn and Yellowjacket. I can accept Cyclops, since they've made almost the rest of the Astonishing team. The rest though? It looks like we're gonna be stuck with getting at least one Ultimate figure every wave, which kinda annoys me, I don't want to be forced to buy every one of them. Not excited about movie Phoenix, I wish they kept movie figures out of ML. And Thor and Storm better be new sculpts, and not just rereleases.

I'm also worried about the number of A-listers in this wave. Cyclops, Wolverine, Thor, Phoenix, Storm, and Magneto all in one wave. I don't mind 4, but when over half of the wave consists of them, I see that as a problem.

Yes. Styled after the Sideshow statue. I wish they'd go back and do meaningful bases just one last time. Like a new Doom with a throne (not as big as the MS Doom's). Other idea's could be certain flying characters with character specific flying bases (like Storm and her clouds). Some characters that come to mind are Speedball, Cannonball, Sunfire (maybe AOA) and Magneto (a new Mags with some translucent magnetic field to hold him up with bent up girders and metal at the bottom). Even a bamf cloud (prefereably translucent) for a newer Nightcrawler would be cool. HEll, it could be Nocturne for all I care. We need more Exiles anyway.

Honestly, if they had taken out one of those A-listers and replaced them with a character that we need, like Black Bolt, do they think that sales would have been that much worse? ML has been surviving with only 1 or 2 A-listers a wave for a while now, its not like its going to suddenly start to drop off. It will start to drop if we keep getting a bunch of repeat characters though, cause people will start to get sick of it, and only buy the characters that haven't been made, until the pegs are clogged with A listers nobody wants.

And I want them to make a statement on how many movie figures are being planned. I don't want to spend the next two years wondering when the heck we're going to stop getting characters from X3. I loved the movie, but I don't need figures from it taking up slots that could have been going to other characters. Plus, who knows how long it will take to get a comic Jean Grey figure now that Phoenix has been made. Wait I take that back, we'll probably get her within 2 waves after this one if over 50% of each wave is dedicated to A-listers.

And once again, if Storm and Thor are reissues, I'm going to be pissed. This isn't Star Wars Hasbro, we don't need old scuplts of every major character reissued once a year in order to keep the line going.

Man, I haven't seen the figures and I'm already getting mad.

People like us made this the best selling line. They need to adhere to us above all others. Seriously, if all us SHH product hypers alone stopped buying their stuff, that'd be at least a little chunk of sales. hell, i usually buy 3 to 4 sets sometimes. but that's going to come to an end. i may by 1 or 2 if they're lucky. and **** them so much for making an x-3 phoenix when we've *****ed about getting a jim lee on all along.

Just because something looks close doesn't mean they can't be modified to resemble them closer. Give customizers some credit.

i for one am very VERY happy legends is staying alive.. and for people who complain about "another wolvie... another iron man... another cyclops... STOP.. please because thats what keeps legends going believe it or not.. who the hell besides us serious collectors is going to buy a bunch of B and C listers ? you think kids are russhing in to buy black bolt? she hulk? quicksilver? sauron? NO.

I for one am only dissapointed in shehulk.. for just the mere fact the MS one fits in perfect.. and is gonna be hard to beat.. XMC cyclops sucked... and many complained about ML10 cyke as well.. so i for one am looking forward in hoping we get a cyclops finally done right. we get quicksilver.. we get ultimate wolverine.. at least a worthy variant.. im surprised he hasnt been made sooner... magneto/xorn (very fig worthy imo), really hope its danger as well becuase i dont see the danger room turning out very well at all... thor is going to not be a re-issue as ive stated before..., Phoenix im cyked as hell for, as ive stated previously, Storm hell if she current or Giant Sized (both rock), Blob HELL YA, and yellow jacket, quicksilver, come on.. this is an amazing line up

we've gotten every A lister... (meaning marvels most popular icons) B listers are almost up now that quicksilver and she-hulk are made... all we need now is blackbolt and the inhumans really... and when the B listers are up what do you expect the rest to be? a line wont survive on runaways and silver sables, cloak and daggers and x-sutdents alone.. lol sure i hate buying ultimate figs.. and hated AOA wolvie.. but i know without them we sadly wouldnt have legends lasting this long

X3 line should have been made.. esp with the money it made.. the figs i think would have sold if they made more females and random cameo mutants. this movie esp had more mutants out of black leather.. so the figs wouldnt all look the same... you have mystique, magneto, pyro, phoenix, multiple man, juggernaut, psylocke, quill, callisto.. then the X-men with suits with brighter colors.. not to mention scott and wolvie in both civie gear... hell even throw in X2's deathstrike and stryker

as for an all movie line.. it would be more like "x-movie and friends" because the only figures left who arn't x-men.. would be...

hey now, i customed my storm base... i'd do it.. but where im good at being creative and stuff.. theres 2 reason i dont do it.. one i suck at taking a fig apart lol i break them... and 2... acrylic paint usually looks bad.. imo on them.. and thats the only thing i'd know to buy. plus ive never been good at building anything but legos lol now the painting 'd attempt.. but heads would be pretty damn hard. Now just because i can't do them as well as some and imo theres only a few peoples customs who amaze me... doesn't mean i can't be amazed or think others look like crap. i'm a tough critic.. but im like that with any kind of art.

WM was one thing.. but for those who got them in abundance seem to still be finding them easily.. and there hasnt been a regualar legend line thats been hard to fine for me since ML7 or 8... ML's were MUCH MUCH more bountaful and have gotten more and more bountaful since the phoenix and hawkeye series.. wich many people never saw.

But dude.. to be honest if you sold all the MOC figs that you didnt care for.. you could buy the whole series 10 with that... lol same with bats if he sold his sentinel army... lol 2 is enough for me... i dont even know what i'd do with more if i had them

WM was one thing.. but for those who got them in abundance seem to still be finding them easily.. and there hasnt been a regualar legend line thats been hard to fine for me since ML7 or 8... These figures are basically plastic crack. And you know damn good and well that freshly opened ML smell gets you nice and buzzed. Especially after opening 5-6 figs with metallic paint apps.

My Problem with the character Rachel, is if she has the power of the Pheonix, then she's the daughter of Chaos, NOT Jean Grey, and if you ask me, that sounds alittle cooler.

(i use quotations because i actually loved it, and i think people just expected more, because quite frankly it was better then X1.. and people treat it like it was worse then Elektra.) doesn't mean the franchise should end.. just get better... after all if somethin's broke, fix it. if its not, then dont. okay... first of all... that is impossible and you are right.. I was expecting more out of X-3..... that's all i can really say.

But a broken movie that most people think isn't broken won't get fixed. It won't get better. They'll just keep churning out the same old crap over and over again.

Meanwhile, that break will get larger and larger until it snaps. The Last Stand is for the X-Men what Batman Forver was for Batman. It'll take an even worse X4 to make so many who enjoyed X3 to bash it.

And they will. History repeats itself.
Trust me.. no one will ever make another batman and robin... the cheese factor will not be broughten to the X-men.. and i didnt find X3 cheesey at all.. I wouldn't want ratner to direct again unless he fixed his own problems... there was alot i didnt like about singer's movies that ratner did fix.. but i wont lie, ratner changed somethings he shouldn't of.

Singer's movies while very story driven, lacked in action... and when doing comic movies thats something that should be a major factor, he also concentrated far too much on wolverine while seriously neglecting other characters who never got to shine at all in his movies. the only great action scene of singers was hands down, nightcrawlers opening scene. But i felt the rest was a tad lacking.. His fights again were centered around wolverine as well... and i felt singer hardly made his x-team act like one. He also made needless character changes... like rogue, when it didnt need to be.

Ratner.. while more action driven and less story driven.. (wich X3 had the best plot btw... just needed more of an execution... i think it needed a little more depth.. three things i would have added to the movie, would have been more cyclops, i would have loved to see the movie open with one of his dreams with jean and her death. cyclops wakes up screaming, blows a hole in his glasses and shoots a beam through the roof of the school (ala Phoenix:endsong), I also think we should have a fightscene between cyclops and wolverine ala astonishing, i think that would have been great. and that last would be more inner conflict with beast.. wich is what i liked about the gifted story line in astonishing. I felt Phoenix was handled really well, though i would have made the phoenix persona be part of her power she always had, since she was a kid, and that the professor had to put the blocks on her to stop her from acting that way. Over all i really like ratners approach he let other characters like storm and iceman shine... people have a big problem with the fact that some of there favorite characters had less screen time, such as rogue. But the x-men films feature what is probably the largest main cast of any movie and the screen times are forced to be rotated...

in X1 it focused on Magneto, Wolverine, Rogue, and Prof X
while the secondary focuses were on Cyclops, Jean, Senator Kelly, and probably sabertooth in terms of screen time

X2 focused on Stryker and Wolverine
while the secondary characters were Nightcrawler, mystique, Magneto, and Jean. close behind was pyro, rogue, and the professor

X3 focused on Jean, Wolverine, Magneto, Storm and the government
while the secondary characters were Beast, Iceman, Prof X. Though not focused on, yet given very powerful and memorable screen time imo, were Cyclops, Rogue, and Angel...

Singers movies were "wolverine and friends" where to be honest the movies didnt have the "x-men" feel at all, they were excellent movies by all means, but it was "Singer's X-men" while if felt Ratner's X-men was much more closer to the comics and for the first time felt like i was watching Whedon's X-men and more recent stories come to life. I think many people were also use to "singer's x-men" and simply wanted to see what happened to them in 3...

I definatly feel while X2 was a more memorable movie, X3 had more memorable scenes
