IMDB Cast List and Director

I dont know how much I believe this. I think it is some fan just adding things. Although Kelly Hu did sign a two movie deal and recently Ratner has been talking about whether he would do the movie or not.

The recent script review only suggests Sabretooth and Stryker will be in the film...although we didnt read the second half of the movie

I think that Cox should not return. As he said in X2, nature (referring to how he got old. But recast a younger man and keep Deathstike and juggernaut but make hiom look younger. Sabbertooth I think must be recasted and keep the silver guy. :spidey:

I actually don´t mind most of that cast list. I would actually bring in Cary Tagawa to play ... erh... what´s his name again? The leader of The Hand that killed Mariko and got his hand cut off by Wolvie, you know.

I would also use Gambit as Wolvies sidekick (so to say) as they have often worked good together in the comics and the character would bring some *BOOM* to Wolvies aid. Nice CGI, I bet.

I don´t see what Juggernaut would have to do in this movie though. Nor Deathstrike (unless prequal, but that would suck IMO.) If she´s dead, she´s dead.

I would have this movie take place in both Japan (for The Hand) and in Canada (for Wolvies past). Also some scenes from the school, where Gambit(now a graduate mutant student and fresh new member of the X-Men) joins Wolverine on his little quest. In Japan Wolvie faces his old master, Ogun, for advice on what to do, and tangles with "Guy who killed Mariko and lost his hand" and his bodyguard, Silver Samurai. They get outta there and are led to Canada.
In the woods near Alkali Lake they fight Sabretooth and Toad (being pissed that Wolverine aided the loss of Magnetos powers they want to get back at them. And Of course they are hired by the whole merry team of Weapon X, where Stryker survived the flood wave. Saved by Toad in the very last second.)
Wolverine And Gambit are captured and immediately experimented on. This would be a good place to have Mr Sinister appear as one of the scientists.

Glad to see you have some morals...Gambit should never be in a Wolverine movie because he has nothing to do with his past what-so-ever. Neither does Juggernaut. And IMDB is crap and I don't take this cast list for 2 cents.

I think Ratner is in there because it was mentioned at some point he was "on a list" - I think Len Wiseman's name was also up there at some point. And I think Juggernaught is in there because Vinnie Jones made some kind of comment about doing Wolverine. The only thing confirmed so far is Hugh - that's it. The rest is all rumors probably taken from offhand statements done in interviews.

IMDB is actually not the first place I where I read that Ken Watanabe is rumored to be playing silver samurai. I think wikipedia mentioned that as well. I think it would be a pretty good casting move.

I think wikipedia is also fan-submitted - anyone can add any kind of rumor on it. So we won't really know until something "official" is announced either by Fox, Hugh or in the trades.
