Tom Selleck is a great actor and I'm a big fan. That's why I had to vote "yes" but even I don't think he'd be right for the part.

Marvel should use him in something. He doesn't look 61 at all. If Sam Elliot doesn't return for Hulk, he'd be a good Thunderbolt Ross.

The reason why I said Tom Selleck would be perfect is because he doesnt look at all like a 61 year old! He is ageless!! He looks like he's in his 40's! After seeing Timothy Dalton in the Rocketeer I always thought that he would have been the perfect Tony Stark, just a shame that he's too old for the role now!

selleck-- maybe Tony's dad.. same goes for Dalton.. it would certainly help to have some big names in the film-- if-- IF-- they go with an unknown/little-known for Tony..

Dalton would've been the man for the job had IM hapenned in the 80's.

Selleck, even back in the day, never struck me as a good Tony Stark. He's not suave enough, he's more rough and tumble. In his heyday, I could've seen Selleck as Fury quicker than Tony.
