Ask Nic Cage some questions here and hopefully Gary Foster or MSJ will forward them or let Nic know it'd be nice to get in touch with the fans once in awhile especially with such a fan based genre of a movie.

Yeah yeah I know it's unlikely but it wouldn't hurt to ask and all MSJ or GF has to do is hit print or e-mail nic the link. :)

1) Nic, assuming this film is a financial success are you committed to keep making sequels as long as their is interest and the script meets your approval?

2) Are there any other comic properties you'd consider as a hero or villain? Jigsaw perhaps in Punisher 2? Deadpool? Namor? Killraven?

3) Are you going to ride the Hellcycle to the Premiere?

Okay, because of the awesome Wisco (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=poMT2QQqBZc), we now have a real possibility of Nic Cage coming here to chat with the Fans. I figure now is a great time to start posting questions, which may help entice him to stick around if he does come visit.

Please, everyone, remain as polite and welcoming as this section of the hype has always been. Also, try to remain on topic with questions about Ghost Rider.

Give 'er.

There is no absolute guarantee that Nic will be along though, in the video (which I linked to) he said that he was very interested and would if Mark showed him how to do so.

Nic!
I have a few Qs if you dont mind:

We all heard how you envisioned Blaze's habits and personality from the comic con. However I would like to hear what is your take on the demon himself...how would you describe his attitude and personality?
Was there anything that you did to try and get yourself into character for the Spirit of Vengeance?
Do you consider him good or evil?
Which particular 70's GR issues stand out in your mind as the best example of what the character is all about? This can be complete issues, panels, phrases, ect.

Thanks!!

Hi Nick, At the Comiccon you spoke about sequels having to be better than the original before even thinking of doing one. (i applaud your position on that BTW). So how about taking Ghost Rider to another origin of his, namley doing a "Midnight Sons" movie as the sequel? That would serve 2 purposes. 1) Its not really a sequel because it would be a NEW origin movie but with Ghost Rider(you) and Blade(W.Snipes, hopefully) forming the Midnight Sons. And 2) You and W.Snipes in a BIG EVENT MOVIE together would be something i think everyone on the planet would want to see!!! A possable ending to the movie could be a cliffhanger with Ghost Rider "on an almost certain suicide mission" to battle lucifer on his own turf in Hell to end his curse, while Blade is charged with protecting Roxanne in your sted against Lucifers demons suddenly reaking havok here on earth... Anyway, just a thought. Love your work...David

Unless you wanted to buy the rights to Blade and give them to Sony...

Hi Nic! First, I'd just like to thank you for taking the time to answer our questions.

I chuckled when you mentioned Blaze's love for jellybeans at comic-con, and I think its a real funny attribute for someone like Blaze to have. I was just wondering where did that idea come from?

Once again, thanks for answering our questions. I wish you the best of luck on your future projects!

Hey Nic,

Just a couple o' quickies about your acting method:

You've obviously given a great deal of thought to Johnny's psychology and the effect that selling his soul has on him. How heavily into the analytical method and research do you usually go when preparing for a role? Also, do you stay in character at all times on set or do you dip in and out?

All the best to you and your family.

LoL. Hilarious.

Okay, questions, hmm, I'm really tempted to ask about World Trade Center but... I'll stick with Ghost Rider, cuz... that's what we're here for...

I'm not sure what to ask really...

How long exactly have you been involved with the project? I get the feeling that you were a driving force but, I'm wondering how much.

And... Is this you in the costume?

Hey Nic, can you tell us about what it was like working with Peter Fonda, and Wes Bentley? One being a Legend of acting, and the other being a great up and comer?

Hello Nic. First, want to say I have loved every movie of yours I have seen (Lord of War is a most recent favorite).

I had read that you expressed interest in playing Tony Stark in Iron Man years ago when the franchise was secured. Since these movies were so close together, I would assume that searchs for cast were going on around the same time. We haven't seen an official announcement of Iron Man casting, but what made you choose the Ghost Rider character instead of pushing for Stark?

Nic, another question (mainly to keep this topic close to the top where it can be easily found in the even that you do show up...)

You mentioned that you'd only do a sequal if it's better than the first. Would you be willing to help develop that story in effort to make it better or will you wait for a script and/or treatment and then decide?

You...should get some facts straight before actually saying that.

Not that I expect Nic to show up. But considering MSJ does and basically asked if Nic would like to which he said yes...is a better chance than to you making an ass out of yourself.

Um. MSJ is a hollywood star and he's been here plenty of times.

Also, you didn't happen to check out the Blade:Trinity website as it was building up to it's release did you? Snipes, Goyer, Renolds all spent quite a bit of time there chattin' with the fans.

Regardless, could you please have this conversation elsewhere. This place is used for questions in the event that Nic does show up. Thank you.

who is to say Cage would even type the answers himself? he could easily have an assistant to do all the "grunt work". shoot...he could just dictate the answers over the phone for someone to log in here.
Cage might show...he might not but to say that he would NEVER show is pretty naive...so far we’ve had both the director and producer log in and answer not only questions but PMs as well. anything at this point is possible...
what would hurt to simply ask a question in here anyway? being embarrassed for starting a "Ask Nic Cage" thread? thats stupid...
worse case scenario he doesn’t show/answer any of the questions. big deal...life will go on but if he does show we will have some questions answered that otherwise would not have been.

Has anyone made any alterations to the FX, skull, etc? i.e. the "flaming eyeballs" in the sockets.

Thanks.
