Did Donner ever see and/or comment on Superman II - RIC

I can't imagine how upsetting it must have been for Donner to have been treated by the Salkinds the way he was, and then fired before he could finish Superman II.

I know he must have been pi$$ed. The RIC is very good but the Donner Cut is gonna be so much better :D

I must admit I love Superman II, even if Lester did take it in a different direction, but the idea of Donner's version really excites me, and from some of the clips I've seen, I am dying to see it. :)

I can't wait to see it, it looks like it is a sequel to the 1st one whereas Lester's version doesn't feel like a sequel to Superman: The Movie.

Oh I think it does. But yeah, there is a different feel to Lester's direction and style. Plus, I love the opening credits of Superman II, that show what happened in Superman: The Movie.

The opening credits are really good, I just hope they restore Brando to them in the Donner cut.
