Casting Superman with Jossverse actors

I just thought it would be fun and something to pass the time along. And yes I know, everyone is about 5-10 years to old for there role, oh well. The only one I can't nail down is Jor-El. And the Kents casting was done based on what age the couple would be when finding Kal-El.

Superman/Clark Kent: David Boreanaz
Lois Lane: Charisma Carpenter
Lex Luthor: James Marsters
Perry White: Anthony Stewart Head.....with an American accent
Jimmy Olsen: Nicholas Brendan
Johnathan Kent: Nathan Fillion
Martha Kent: Kristine Sutherland
Lana Lang: Amy Acker
Lara: Robia LaMorte
Cat Grant: Sarah Michelle Gellar
Maggie Sawyer: Elisabeth Rohm


This alone would be a better cast than Superman Returns :)

I was glad that somebody was gracious enough to point out this thread, two things became clear to me. One, retconned is Venom420 and Finkle is Einhorn. Two, Retconned-Venom 420 wanting to recast Returns with the Buffy castaways explains alot.

Again Kane, your lack of taste or knowing what quality story and character development is remains very evident. Not suprising from a Superman Returns supporter, a production that lacked both qualities.

A good Superman film in your view would probably be a pretty bad one in the view of alot of the fans.

So hopefully that day wont come. Then again, you may at least get your supervillian and action in the sequel. I have a feeling the studio will make sure its a mindless action X3-like money maker.

Not to defend it or anything, I wasn't a fan either, but wasn't the show wildly sucessful? Wasn't it on for seven years? That's a long time in TV.

I really like the idea of Charisma Carpenter as Lois Lane. But instead of David Boreanaz as Superman I Think Superman if plyed by a Buffy/ Angel actor should be played by Mark Lutz A.KA. Groosalug. Come to think of it lutz would probably be awesome as Bizzaro.

Even then though, I can't see him in the role.

I thought the show was alright, at least the first few seasons. I don't get why people hate it so much, when it has superhero elements and what not.
