Hmmmm.... so if they know about him in the X-Men movies does that mean that the FF takes place in the past of the world of the X-Men??? Are they in an alternate reality? But, X-Men takes place in the not too distant future. That could mean that the X-Men take place after Franklin is born, which would probably be FF3.

Also, never noticed his name in Stryker's database....now I will have to look for it.

Definitely a hint in FF2....i also like Franklin's (the Hype poster) idea about having the character born in FF3....while introducing Annihilus.

Having Reed, Johnny, and Ben enter the Negative Zone to fetch Annihilus' Cosmic Rod (try saying THAT with a straight face, lol) to help Sue get through her delivery sets up a wealth of good storylines....hell, we could even have Blastarr appear!

So i vote "yes".

Assuming the X-films take place in the present day, then let's just say it's another Franklin Richards. That's easy enough.
What's not so easily explainable is how Hank McCoy appears in X-2 in apparently human form...

We arn't talking boy wonder, we'r talking Paternal instincts The 4 will do whatever it takes to protect this child.

It would be a great way to show Sue's power potential.

Apples and oranges. Superman's surprise love child was a drastic deviation from continuity and canon. Franklin has been part of the FF family since before most people here were born. He unquestionably belongs in the movies; the question is when...
