JON FAVREAU: Ahh... sort of... (laughs).
JON FAVREAU: Rhodey (James Rhodes), Pepper Potts, Obadiah Stane... those are the core. I think that there's mixtures and fusions of things, but that's what it is. A lot of homework is being done and there will definitely be some layers in there for people who are fans of the books.

Favreau before had confirmed himself that Pepper Potts, and Jim Rhodes would be in the film. But not Obadiah Stane.

The bit on casting sounds interesting, he sounds like he´s looking for someone in the Christian Bale area, someone who has the chops and experience, but hadn´t hit the A-list yet (as Bale hadn´t before BB).

WOW, Stane, thats a huge deal, having either him or Justin Hammer would make sense, as Stark would need a business rival, and Stane makes the most sense as he's done more to Stark than anyone.
