How about Adam Baldwin for Tony Stark? Jayne from Serenity and Firefly. Not as well known as the others, which is a good thing, and he's a pretty good actor. And he's got the look down pat.

He looks too old and needs a wig to play Stark.

Interesting choice.... but he'd need to be able to grow out a proper goatee/stache instead of that whispy thing he's got goin' on in those pics. ;)

He could work, not sold on him completely, but I wouldn't hate the hiring. He's a good actor, who hasn't gotten that really big break yet, has always been a good supporting actor.

The Question

Too beefy. Stark's not supposed to be ripped. He's a good actor, but he's just got the wrong build. Now, if he were to apear in a comic book movie, he'd make a good Parasite for the villain role in a Superman flick.

I saw Serenity on HBO this past weekend (pretty good flick) and this guy did come off as the Han Solo/Harrison Ford type guy Favreau said he was looking for. If they got him it could work.

besides, I wouldn't mind a badass like Animal Mother to be Tony Stark

Actually he ain't related to Alec, Stephen, Billy and Daniel. So whether he has any issues I wouldn't know.

And sad to say I can't see him in the Stark role.

Big fan of Adam (surprise! checky my avatar), but I don't know if I would like him as Tony Stark. I wish there was another choice on the poll.

I like Adam Baldwin in Serenity/Firefly/Independance Day, but he's just too fratboyish-toolish to play Tony Stark.

I like Adam Baldwin in Serenity/Firefly/Independance Day, but he's just too fratboyish-toolish to play Tony Stark.

what about any of his roles makes you see him as "fratboyish"? Usually I see him as rather gruff, which is the exact opposite.
