He is on his back. Even though the crew hasn't completely set him up for shooting, he is supposed to be held captive, and bound, even if You look at the hands, and where the thumbs are. The other hand is to the left of his head, on the platform.

We cant get a good look at the contours of his front - I think what we see are the chestplates, below it probably tapers down and froms the rest of his torso. From that picture I think the second drawing is going to be closer to what we see in the movie. I very much hope so.

Both designs look pretty rad. I just wish Dreamworks would quit being so damn secretive and give us at least one official pic of a Transformer.

Why should they? Just because people whine and cry about wanting to see and know things before the actual movie comes out? I don't see why the rise of internet forums should somehow make studios bow to the neverending cries of those that use them.

They look like cars because that is their DISGUISE. Why do they need to mask their insides as well? So what, do they only transplant their mechanical brains or what? If they're going to totally change their make up, then why not turn themselves into weapons of mass destruction???

They have to look like vehicles inside and out, they scanned the vehicles and then changed to look like that. Anyway it's a movie based on a cartoon based on a toyline don't overthink.

Which is why i think the second drawing is closer to what Bumblebee will actually look like - the hood of the car-mode is covering his "vital" areas, it also makes him look more armored.

The only thing I dont like is that you can't even tell he turns into a car. There are no parts of the car showing at all. Even the pic where he is laying down, it does not look like he can turn into an earth vehicle based on the parts we see.

The Bumblebee actual pic, and the one the guys drew off of it looks to fragile to me. I wonder if certain parts of the Transformers are gonna actually be made of the same material as the car they're disguised as? On other words, when someone touches Bumblebee in his car mode, will they say "hey this feels a little hard to be a car". Or "this car is not made of the same material other cars are made of......"
