The matchmaking is pretty good, but if you mean as in pairing up based on skill level I'd wait until next week to judge. It just released, the ranking is adjusting. :o The game we played was laggy, were you downloading something?

Annnnyways, the game itself is pretty cool, but again the difficulty is a kick in the nuts. I dug for my old cartridge to compare earlier and it's a lot easier on the Genesis. Why does the difficulty get lost in arcade to XBL arcade ports? First Robotron and now this. I hope it doesn't happen with Defender. :confused:

This is officially the worst purchase Ive ever made for my 360. Online can't connect to anyone, and when I finally start to connect it times out. The single player, even on zero difficulty stars, is damn near impossible, and the controls are retarded. The d-pad on the 360 controller completely sucks, and the analog stick doesnt register movements correctly half the time (ie, down downforward forward). If this had been a physical purchase, I would already be on my way back to the store to trade it in.

Then again, maybe I expected too much out of a fighting game, to not have awful ai that registers all your movements instantly to counter them, and spamming specials with no limit. Maybe I've been jaded by DOA4 and other well-put together fighting games, who knows. I do think its sad they spent all this time on working on the live framework and Im still seeing complaints all over about lag and connection issues over a goddamn 16 bit game.

I downloaded a sega genesis emulator on my work computer and picked up a usb game pad (total sony PS2 ripoff) for $10 - after the boss leaves, it's Streetfighter 2 time..

Alpha does seem a little difficult lol. Im playing world tour mode and I have to fight ehonda and zangief at the same time. And after I beat them they both spawn again. I use akuma though, cant get enough of the raging demon lol.
