Question about Superman comics

I am not big into DC comics, but I do like Jim Lee's work, so I picked up a couple issues of Superman 204-214. And then I see Clark Kent confronting SUPERMAN?!?!??!?! WTF??????

Can someone please explain to me what is going on and how is Superman and Clark Kent two different ppl.

You know, they do explain it later in the storyline. Clark used the Phantom Zone generator to create a safe haven where he could evacuate people to in the event of a worldwide catastrophe, and he altered three of the drones in the Fortress to look after it while it was unocupied. He gave the drones the physical apearence of Jor El, Lara, and Clark Kent. It never said why, but it was probably to give the people a more human face to interact with and make them feel more comfortable.
