What do ya think?
I have it, haven't got to read much, but most of the art is pretty neat, and its presented beautifully. I have only read the foreword so far, it seems like the comic and stories were produced independently, and then companies like marvel presented a package to publish them.

Yup. Breaking Que... somthing is my fav. because, since it's done by some Japanese guy, there is no words, just straight up badassness, you'll see, when the flood turn off the energy bridge, UHHHHHH

I thought it was really good. I just wished there was more to it. Its over too fast. There are alot of pages of just art. Overall, thought it was really good and Im not even a huge halo fan. Id give it a 4 out of 5.

I read it and it's not bad....the first story suffers from the art. its really cool paintings and all, but as an actual comic the action scenes get SERIOUSLY confusing....but the story was pretty neat and reminds me of the thing. It explains a little more about the flood.
My favourite stories were breaking quarrentine (its the most beautiful piece and cool to boot) about sgt Johnson escaping the flood, and the new mombossa story.
Overall I felt it was worth it since it actually adds to the Halo universe.
I wonder how the monthly will work though?

That picture would be so cool as a teaser for the Halo movie.

the stories were pretty good, but the art was seriously lacking. the only one with any kind of narrative was the sarge one. the new mombossa one too, but not much really happened in that where you needed the art to help guide you through the story...

Wow, O7? I'm definately picking those up. Is it in continuity? Imagine MC guest-starring in Marvel comics?!

lol. I can see it now, "Master Chief vs. Punisher" lol.
I love the art in the book. I think the mombasa story is pretty lacking in the art department. The gallery at the end of the book is amazing though.

That would be a sick "what if" type of thing, but it would suck if they tried to do it in continuity.
