This is an area i feel Iron Man can really hook the audience with
SR had an awesome plane rescue using the new tech but there was no arial combat and with the new tech on offer IM could really take advantage of this

Now Mandarin is the villain so an arial smackdown is unlikely but how about if he was to fly a high tech heavily armoured chopper in a battle against IM ?

Could really make for some awesome eye popping visuals IMO

I think in the latest Wizard interview, Favaureau mentions IM being capable of having an aerial dogfight with an F-16 fighter jet, so who knows?

I definitely agree that a cool aerial battle could hook the audience. remember the battle of the Death Star in the first Star Wars movie.

It's an F-22. Here's the interview:

A dog fight would be cool.

Mind the budget. This film budget ain't the same league as Superman Returns.

I fixed the typo in the thread title. Arial action makes me think he's gonna have fun with fonts. :woot::oldrazz:

I'd like to see Shell head vs. an Apache chopper as the "final test" of the armor.

Is he using the aerial dogfight with the F-22 as an example of what IM could do or is he actually saying that this will happen in the movie?

I'd like to see Shell head vs. an Apache chopper as the "final test" of the armor.

I don't see an Apache being much of a challenge since helicopters can't travel at Mach speeds like Iron Man and the F-22 can.
