That depends on the game, but the PS3 is limited to 256, while the 360 cam use up to 512 if they want no CPU processing whatsoever. 360 wise, it depends on the game, but it does have a higher potential available ram for the GPU then the PS3.

Thankfully the PS3 OS is undergoing revision and getting smaller in size.

IT INCLUDED: 'OBLIVION', 'G.O.W.', 'DEAD RISING', 'SAINT'S ROW', 'G.R.A.W.' ,'FULL AUTO' AND 'THE OUTFIT'. 4 OF THOSE ARE "AAA" TITLES (OR WILL BE), THAT JUST WEREN'T READY ENOUGH TO MAKE THE LAUNCH WINDOW. I GUARANTEE YOU THE 'PS3' WILL HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM.......MAYBE TO A GREATER DEGREE; THE 'PS2' LAUNCH WAS ONE OF THE WORST IN HISTORY, IN TERMS OF AVAILABLE GAMES.

Yes, but how many tens of millions of those were 2nd, 3rd, or even 4th units sold to the same person, because their old PS2s keep breaking? I soooo wish I could get a good estimate on how many unique buyers there are for each system.
