Amazing Spider-Man: The Game

Wouldn't it be cool if they came out with a game based on the Amazing Spider-Man comics... all the old costume styles and ideas.

And a free-roaming on at that.

With these villains:

Carnage
Chameleon
Doctor Octopus
Electro
Green Goblin
Green Goblin 2
Hobgoblin
Hydro-Man
Jackal
Kraven
Lizard
Manwolf
Molten Man
Morbius
Mysterio
Rhino
Sandman
Scorpion
Shocker
Venom
Vulture

And at the end of the game have a free roam setting, where you can free roam as regular spidey, symbiote spidey, ben reily, etc... then also have the pop-up map and have a section where you can randomly place villains all over the map and then every now and then you'll run across them commiting crimes and have to stop them?

plus all of the thugs and regular crimes to add... and instead of an arrow pop-up every time a crime starts, you, instead, hear a siren and have to find out where it is, and maybe have SOME SMALL clue to where it is... like when your facing the direction of the crime the crime noises get louder...

also have the locations: Manhattan, Queens, Bronx and a few of the surrounding areas...

a game with a free roam like that would be sweet!!! ;D

yup... though it would take forever to program and animate.

Yep, that would be IGN's fault. A rep from Activision said they were in the production of making Spider-Man 3 and Spider-Man Classic (the name at the time for USM). Then month's later it was confirmed that a Ultimate Spider-Man game was in production. IGN then assumed that there was going to be 3 spidey games.

They are making another Spider-Man game in addition to Spider-Man 3.

Well since spider-man the movie game 1 and 2 werent released for xbox 360, wii ans ps3, not available back in the years, it make sense that they will make a trilogy. 2007 will be a huge "bring on the money spidey" year with the sm3 movie. Hope it will be all in one disc and GTA style...

Heard great stuff about these games, but never actually played them the whole way through.

Played a couple levels in the first.
Never touched the second one.

Anywho...In a perfect spidey game, you'd be able to play as ALL of the villians that show in the game. Each with their own special and unique abilities.
