Not so much as the last or next-to-last issue of the G2 comic when Jhiaxus slashed Optimus right in the face, which destroyed his faceplate and caused damage to his vocabulator, preventing him from speaking for a few minutes (before the auto-repair system could kick in). Very skulllike underneath. VERY creepy.

how did prime ever come to have a faceplate on in the first place? as his origin would have it, orion pax didn't have a faceplate on. what happened during his elevation to being optimus prime?

wow that picture is the worst picture of transformers ever. seriously it makes the transformers seem like it was all about sharing, and caring, and being nice, and come on its like optimus has cheeks. im never going to look at optimus, spike, or sparkplug the same way again
