the thing is i got a version for the PSP when i bought that. and i've missed out on the learning curve in alot of the previous editions. i went from iss '98 to PES to PES4. so really i haven't got into it yet since i don't play games so much anymore. pretty much just waiting for an innovation that'll be a long time coming. but yeah i'll still play PES every now and then. it's just nowerdays i get beat by the AI at normal difficulty rather than winning on the highest. you normally have to work out how the developers think football should be played and then fit in with that. and the later version seem to require a greater knowledge of individual players and their unique skills and how they have been translated to the game.
Which are your favorites team? I always chose Real Madrid, even though their defense sucks (That'll change with the new game i hope). I also like Milan and Brazil.

i've played both, and i prefer FIFA (I hate saying it, I hate EA). It's not necessarily a better game, but i find it more fun, and the graphics are better.

BS! FIFA's players look silly
To me FIFA has always been a very easy game, with PES is much harder to beat the CPU.

Read the sig chums
PvP: I usually go AC Meeelan. Good alround balance, class strikers.
P.CPU: Barca just for the good width and sheer power of Eto.
Come On!

IMO PSP version (currently) sucks. Konami acknowledged this and have promised a much improved PE6.
Anyone seem the screen caps for the PS3 version? Ace.

yep it must suck so much it screws up my playing. also load times can be annoying. and when you want a quick blast of football that doesn't help. it's PES5 on the PSP rather than 4 like i said. so basically i haven't played a good PES game since PES.

on those screen. haven't we get to the point where we expect grass to have a bit of depth. and to be effected by the players feet a bit just running.

After decoding your posts, I kinda of agree on the grass idea, t'wud be nice on next gen for stuff like scuffed shots and liding tackles.
