View Full Version : What has happened to all of the characters by the time Batman Beyond occurs?

I've just been looking over another thread, regarding what future for Batman people prefer and I just got thinking about Batman Beyond. Now I've seen quite a few episodes and The Return Of The Joker but I just wondered if someone/s could clear up what exactly happened to any of the other heroes and villains?

Example:

Tim Drake: As Robin, got abducted by The Joker and Harley Quinn and tortured, experimented on by Mr J in order to turn him into a "son" of sorts. Eventually killed the Joker before seeking mental help and then leaving the superhero business behind. Turned out he had had a chip placed into him that allowed the Joker to take over his body at a later time.

So, anyone got any info on any others characters such as Dick, The Riddler, Penguin, etc?

Bruce and Dick had another falling out and Dick left for Bludhaven

I'm guessing, but I'd bet Jim Gordon's dead, he was kinda old in BTAS. Alfred's dead too, and I think buried on the manor's grounds. Or possibly in the same plot with Bruce's parents.

I really want to know what happened to Selina Kyle.
I remember reading an interview saying there was originally supposed to be another batman beyond DTV involving Catwoman/Selina Kyle
Too bad it never happened :(

Interesting idea for a future comic or movie. Too bad Batman Beyond doesnt answer all of these questions. Would have been much better if it there were more connections to the past.
