LOOKS LIKE SEGA'S GETTING COLD FEET (http://www.clubskill.com/Game_News/4214/GC%202006:%20Full%20Auto%202%20no%20longer%20a%20P S3%20exclusive). WHICH MAKES SENSE, CONSIDERING THE FRANCHISE LAUNCHED ON THE '360'......AND DIDN'T SELL WELL ANYWAY; THEY'RE FAR MORE LIKELY TO FAIL ON A CONSOLE THAT WON'T SELL WELL (INITIALLY) EITHER.

Too bad nobody wants this game. More Shenmue!!!

Who cares. The game looked stupid in the first place. I was wondering why Sega was having this game as a Playstation 3 exclusive when the series first started on the Xbox 360

I thought Full Auto 2 wasn't even a proper sequel? More like a half-assed update of the original?
How did the original score? I can't see too many 360 fans willing to shell out for a semi-sequel, particularly if it was never that popular in the first place.
It seems PS3 can't keep hold of it's exclusives. :( At least Full Auto was one no one cared about anyway.

THE CONCEPT WAS COOL........IT SHOULD'VE BEEN THE NEXT-GEN 'TWISTED METAL'........BUT IT WAS LACKING ALOT OF FEATURES. THE SEQUEL PROMISES TO IMPROVE ON THE ORIGINAL QUITE A BIT, SO I MAY GIVE IT A RENT. I LIKE BLOWING S**T UP. :O
Maybe Virtua Fighter isn't too far behind?

I never cared too much for Virtua Fighter either. Mortal Kombat and Soul Calibur do the trick for me.

You seem to hate awesome games. Ninja Gaiden (off of the demo (lolfoflfo)) and Shenmue, as examples.

VF5 on 360? LMAO! It sells like crap in NA and its a big success in Japan only.
Still the best 3D fighting series though.

No one liked Shenmue. They didn't just decide to not release 3 because it sold. You and like 200 others love it. Everyone else sees it for the crap it is. Ninja Gaiden is so generic and boring it wasn't funny.

Virtua fighter is the worst 3D fighter game there is. Boring, and anti-fun.

I guess the lesson is that when you make a watered down violence-less Twisted metal it won't sell.

I get that it isn't the same kind of fun as other fighters, but I still love it to bits.
I think of it as the Gran Turismo of fighters. Takes itself a bit too seriously, but still bloody good fun.

Good job on all the innovations you made in the field of not knowing what the hell you're talking about with this post. No, they didn't decide to not do a Shenmue game because they weren't selling, they actually decided to do another Shenmue game in the form of Shenmue Online (an abomination in place of Shenmue III, but still proof that Sega has faith in the IP). The game, despite costing a ton to produce, was a large commercial success in the US and Europe, with the 2nd game's European Dreamcast release actually being one of the most imported games of all time. They aren't making Shenmue III for much the same reason they aren't making Panzer Dragoon Sagas, or Shining Forces, or any of the games that got them their fanbase in the first place, and for much the same reason that they aren't in the console business anymore - Sega's management is staffed with morons.

Yeah, that's it.
It's not that it sold poorly, it's that people who have been in the buisness for decades are morons.
Gotcha.

Follow some Sega news over the last six years, and you'll see that's EXACTLY what it is.
