Really looks good, I can't wait. I think this is a perfect example of using the Wii controller to the fullest without it being a game that either uses heavily a sword or a gun. They can tighten the controls up tighter than Sonic has ever had it before, and still come out with an amazing product here.

Looking this title more and more. I pasted the trailer awhile ago in the wii promise announcements thread I think. So I'm glad we're back to focusing on Sonic rather than 30 knock offs that I hated, also glad that the game is forward like the 2d ones. You may have been able to stop in the original sonic but you could not go back, it was always forward and it was your goal to breeze through the stages pretty fast. So yeah looking forward to what they have to offer, hopefully good unique stages with twists and great boss fights.

So far, my favorite of the Sonics was Sonic Adventure (Which I'll buy once I have the Wii.:) )

But this one may beat it.

Wow, that video did an awesome job of dulling the enthusiasm I had for the title. Move left to right while avoiding obstacles that cause you damage was mind numbing enough when they did the "running down the building" segment in Sonic Adventure, I can't iamgine making an entire game based off it is going to suddenly be some heralding experience simply because it has nice environments.

I love the 'freedom' of the environments, and I do really want to see Sonic run through them all cinimatic like, but the mechanics seem so restrictive and annoying looking with the obstacle course mechanics.

PS3 and 360 have their own Sonic game. I'm intrigued by both but given how the last good Sonic game was the first Sonic Adventure (2 blew and Sonic Heroes was just boring and Shadow the Hedghog was a joke), I'll wait for reviews before buying or even renting either though.
