Nothing's been released about it since then, and that was from before the game was released. I'm guessing it got cancelled or something like that.
EDIT: Well, the imdb page (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0489103/) is still up...

Probably cancelled. The game had a huge amount of expectation from the press because of the game's quality, but barely anyone bought it.

Kameo and Perfect Dark Zero actually sold quite a bit during the launch window, I remember them both being in the "top 10" somewhere, though I don't know how long they actually stayed there/how many they actually sold. I do know they've both turned profits though. Anyways, if IMDB still has it, I guess it could be made. It could actually make a decent CG movie, like Ice Age, aimed at a family audience. The story wasn't grand, but compared to most games it was pretty decent.

The sad thing is, if a game can't be turned into an action movie, producers have no idea how to do it. Even games that weren't action games (Resident Evil) were turned into action games because movie makers don't really know what the games are about.

Meh, I think in some cases that can be a good thing. A RE move would have been even worse if it had piano puzzles in it :o

If Silent Hill's second half made sense, that would have been a great rendition of the videogame.
If Resident Evil was more of a horror movie, or even better, if the next RE is based tightly on RE4, it will be awesome.
