Paul J. Wares of BOF wrote and directed it. Jett is just hyping it up.
Last I heard, the first trailer for it is suppose to be released in the next few weeks.

PJ has been giving us updates on BOTB. The guy who is doing his miniatures has posted some pics of his work for this film. Incredible talent this kid has. Looks like these came straight from the 89 set. Paul is really taking his time with this project, wants it to be done right. Its gonna be awhile for this project to be done but it will be well worth the wait.

I remember this was originally supposed to come out in 2008, they he bumped it to 2009 becuase of the anniversary of Batman '89 and the Batman character himself... haven't heard anything at all since.
All I can find on it is this video (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XJQo_GF13gk) dated 2007, I like it well enough I guess.

yes it is, 4 year old, Paul has been working on this movie for a good 5 years. I'm interested in seeing what that dedication has lead to, besides the one scene
I posted above.

No, and that is an ignorant statement.
PJ has had some things that made him put this project on the back burner. Its unfortunate as this was truly a labor of love for him. Maybe someday it will be completed.

So.... any more updates on this? A shame for it to fade away after the care put into the materials that were online.

It's been four years I doubt the producer did anything.

Don't worry... He'll get around it. He's been busy.
If he never finishes it, it would be nice to just give us some other completed scenes.
I remember the maker saying a lot of things was going on and the project was just getting more expensive. Maybe he'll wait another few years for another Batman'89 anniversary.(which is why he was originally going to put it out last year).

Both of the voices in the vid posted above sounded like Kevin Conroy doing impressions of B89 characters to me. It was interesting.
