Hey all......I'm not a comic book reader.......so I'm not up to speed on the Superman universe.....
I know that Clark and Lois are married......
So.....has Clark been a faithful husband? Has he ever cheated on Lois? Has Clark ever had an affair with Lana? With Wonderwoman?
thanks....

He hasn't cheated on her. As a matter of fact, Clark's level of faithfulness is almost sickening. I do remember Lois accusing him of having an affair on one occasion though (he didn't). Come on. He's Superman. :super:
The Question

Nope. At one point, he was trapped in another universe with Wonder Woman for 1,000 years. Nothing happened.

Seriously! 1000 years?...with Wonder Woman? Come on! I still remember a panel from that with Clark bemoaning something like "It didn't how much time had passed. It would always be Lois". Get the **** out of here. :ww:
The Question

Clark is a loyal boy. If something ever happened to Lois, he'd just become celibate.

there was one issue where wondy spent the day with lois to get to know her and quell any suspicions...

hey here's a little known fact. Even though he's the man of Steel, in issue 3657B in the book of john , you find out that he is impotent.
so superman can outrun a train but he can't keep his d:supes: ck hard for 5 minutes.

I think it was hinted at in Hush that he had a thing with Ivy when he was brainwashed. don't know if that counts

Does Godfall count?

I don't think Supes would ever be unfaithful. Now Lois, on the other hand, has spent more than one occasion following Batman around...;)

1000 years with wonder woman? give me a break.
i hate it when writers try to make a character so perfect, or loyal, it becomes fake.
The Question
08-27-2006, 03:34 PM
It doesn't really seem fake. I think he just loves Lois so much that if she died, as I said, he'd just become celibate.

He's faithful, but lusts in his heart for Lana.

they need to humanize clark more, get him and lana to kiss or something better ;) and have him feel guilt in trying to hide it from lois and then have Lana leave Sam for Clark but have Clark stay loyal to lois

I dunno about that. Seems to me in every 'alternate future' storyline DC has ever done - most of which involve Lois having died a horrible and untimely death of some kind - Superman inevitable knocks boots with Wonder Woman.
The Question

Hmmm. Kingdom Come is the only one like that I can think of. In DC: One Million, he stayed all by his lonesome for thousands of years and then, when he gained god like powers, used them to resurect Lois.

There was also the DK continuity and I believe the Hyperclan story-arc IIRC (or one of those post-Crisis 'Invasion' storylines - noy exactly sure which race it was).

Never have i seen an issue where he cheated on her. Though in Superman #655 Lana made an appearance and she looked HOT. There was talk between the two and she remember old times.
Clark could always have Lois but tap Lana on the side. What's the big deal? She'd never know. :o

I have not read a Superman comic since 1996, (Big Batman fan), but with the recent movie and watching the repeats of Lois and Clark on ITV2, i've become more interested in Supes so... Is he still married to Lois??
The Question

Yes. Quite happily so.

That was a great issue. Just seeing Lois and Diana play pool, clearing the air, and finally becoming friends was satisfying. In Rucka's run, Lois asked Diana to look after Clark when she went off to cover the war in Umec. I liked that the two are friends now.

In action Comics Lana put her panties on the floor of Clark and Lois' apartment. She stayed there three days taking care of Clark while Lois was out of the country covering a story. Lois found the underwear. Fun ensues! It was a LOOOONG drive to Smalleville for Christmas...:D
Action 817, 818, 819. 822 and 823. Heh...
