What quotes do you hope or would like to hear in the film?

Specifically speaking, I'd love to hear Harvey mention this line from The Long Halloween.

"Two shots to the head. If you ask me, it couldn't have happend to a nicer guy."

Nothing really comes to my mind that I would consider a famous qoute from a Batman comic at this time.

If I think of something, I will add it to my post.

I'm not sure how you could implement this into the film, but i loved the line where Batman catches up with The Joker in the plane in the Long Halloween

"Put the plane down.NOW"

Obviously i doubt The Joker would use a plane in TDK. Or would he?

Behind all the stern and bat-o-rangs, you're just a little boy in a playsuit, crying for mommy and daddy! It'd be funny if it wasn't so pathetic... Ah, what the heck, I'll laugh anyway! There is a sick sick twisted creepy gross quote from the graphic novel ARKHAM ASYLUM. It is very twisted, and it goes something along the lines of this:

*Joker holds gun to security guards head*
Joker: "This man's wife just had a baby, and he calls the doc and asks: How did everything go doc. The doctor replies, "your wife is fine and your baby's a healthy one." So he rushes to the hospital to see his dear ol wife and his new born. And once he gets to the hospital he rushes into an empty room. He looks at the Doc and Nurses and asks: "where is my family?"

They all scream: "APRIL FOOLS! YOUR WIFE DIED GIVING BIRTH AND YOUR BABY BOY'S DISABLED!"

*BANG! Joker shoots the security gaurd point blank in the side of the head*

Joker: *sigh* "Well, ha, that was a waste of life...hehe." (as he slicks his hair back smiling)

(I know I didn't get that quote down right exactly, but it was a pretty messed up part in the book.)

Ya:(I know it is very twisted, and IMO, I think something to this extent will probably be left out of TDK.

You know what is crazy, for anyone who has never read AKRHAM ASYLUM...when he does this (tells the joke and than blows the guys brains out)....He does it RIGHT INFRONT OF BATMAN...and Batman can't do a single thing about it, because the Joker has another hostage with a gun to their head instantly...he tells Batman to leave:(...that is major suck suck for Batman...

Another which to me, is a must, is from Joker's Five-Way Revenge. It has "mysterious" feeling to it. Mainly describing Joker's actions.

Batman: He's like a one man plague. He comes, kills, and vanishes.

And from The Killing Joke. Where if there is a scene like this from the book, with Joker explaining his origin, it should be close to the original quote.

Joker: Sometimes I remember it one way, sometimes another. If I’m going to have a past, I prefer it to be 'multiple choice!' HA HA HA!

Although it's not really a quote per se, I'd really love to see an interrogation scene between the Joker and any law enforcement agency officer along the lines of the Joker case files in The Forensic Files of Batman. It's a really great part in the book that shows just how sick, twisted and utterly insane the Joker is.

In Knightfall where bats catches up with the joker in the tunnel, instead of shouting out Jason Todd, he could shout out Rachel Dawes while beating the feck out of the joker....presuming that Mr J kills Rachel of course...presuming that Rachel re-appears...and please no one else to find out thats Batman and Bruce are one and the same...

I'm surprised no-one's mentioned one of the coolest lines from Arkhum Asylum, which speaks of the Joker's danger since he understands Batman better than most enemies. To quote when Batman's 'captive' in the asylum with the inmates:-

INMATE: I say we take off his mask. I wanna see his real face.

JOKER: Don't be so predictable, for Christ's sakes! That IS his real face!

Personally, I think there should be a Nicholson reference. One of the ideas I had (let's see how many of you get it):-

PERSON stands catching their breath near a door, when

SMASH!! An axe strikes through the door!

The PERSON reacts and jumps back, whilst a there's another SMASH as the axe breaks through the door, repeatedly.

Through the hole in the door is a pale face, with a long nose and dark green hair (the JOKER). But the scariest thing is that he isn't angry, he's actually smiling and laughing as if he's told a gag.

JOKER: Here's Joker!!!

Man, that would be so awesome. TDK might be too early for it, since they'll just be meeting, but i'd love if they put that in the third movie. I'm hoping Joker doens't dissapear after the second film and stays around for the third. Or perhaps he could be locked up for 3 and come back for the fourth film, along with Harley Quinn.

Tell them your next address will be a prison or a grave because--hear me, Milo--I will find the blind man and I'll return and I'll destroy you. I'll watch you whimper and beg and crawl.

Here's one from Arkham Asylum:

CHARLIE: Joker! I had enough of this madness!
JOKER: Enough madness? Enough? And how do you measure madness? Not with rods and wheels and checks, surely? You know you look so pretty when your mad. KISS ME CHARLIE! RAVISH ME! But no tongue, ya hear? Not on the first date.
CHARLIE: I'm warning you...

I like in Y1 when Batman has that drug dealer pinned in his apartment and tells him:

From The Killing Joke:

The Joker: Remember? Oh, I wouldn't do that! Remembering's dangerous! I find the past such a worrying, ancious place. "The past tense" I suppose you'd call it! HA HA! Memory's so trecherous! One moment you're lost in a carnival of delights, with poigniant childhood aromas, the flashing neon of puberty, and all that sentimantal candy floss! The next, it leads you to somewhere you don't want to go. Somewhere dark and cold, filled with damp, ambiguous shapes of things you'd hoped were forgotten. Memories can be vile, repulsive little brutes. Like children I suppose. HAHA!! But can we live without them? Memories are what our reason is based upon. If we can't face them, we deffy reason itself! Although, why not? We aren't contractually tied down to reality. There is no sanity clause. So when you find yourself on an unpleasent train of thought, leading to places in your past where the screaming is unbearable, remember, there's always madness. Madness is the emergency exit! You can just step outside, and close the door on all thoes dreadful things that happened. You can lock them away. Forever.
