Spider-Man Future Allies

Ok, we know that in Spider-Man 3, Harry is rumored to assist Spider-Man in defeating Sandman and Venom at the end of the movie...

... but who thinks it's a good idea for Prowler to get involved with Spider-Man 4, 5, and 6 in small ways. And possibly have Black Cat get involved in Spider-Man 5, 6... and then have Silver Sable help Spidey against Venom in 6. And last but not least, have Sandman help Spidey against Venom in either 4 or 5, and die helping Spidey. (die by Venom biting him)

now in Spider-Man 1 and 2 we didn't really have allies... except the crowd who helped Spidey from the on-coming Goblin on dangerous glider. and then crowd standing in front of Spidey against Ock on the train...

... who thinks having super-allies would be a good idea?

yeah... personally i don't really like Black Cat... it's just Spidey dosn't really have many allies that aren't officially part of another group like Fantastic Four, X-Men or something else...

and i doubt they'll drag actors from those series just to fill in a cameo on their character... though that would be cool to have the Human Torch in Spider-Man 3 or 4... :P

Right now I say no team-ups. I'm leery of anything that could lead down the "Batman & Robin" route. And bringing in someone like Black Cat or Prowler could do that. Keep Spidey solo.

Ideally, the best team-up for Spidey would be Daredevil :daredevil


Both of them against Michael Duncan as Kingpin would be awesome....


However, since that wont be happening anytime soon, i say fine; bring on The Prowler in a future installment.

It's a bad idea for a host of reasons, but I guess the biggest is that it would take the focus off of Spider-Man & give the appearance that he was taking on a sidekick.

For "super allies" I would say Felicia Hardy/Black Cat in Spidey 4-6, and POSSIBLY Daredevil cameo as CapStacy said above.


I'd love to see Harry's spirit return from the grave....it'd be creepy. But I would laugh. The Goblin legacy is not over in SM3 I fear....HOBGOBLIN-SM4/5/6!
