They may know who she is, but that isn't the same thing as being a celebrity. After all, publicists talk to the media, don't they. Without the media, these celebrities wouldn't be celebrities at all. People wouldn't talk about them or care what they did outside of their movies/albums/etc. The media and the paparazzi create the buzz that helps them to get really famous, get roles and get even more money.

the humonoid decepticon wasn't really discussed in depth, nor were the dying transformer babies (couldve done without that imp) etc. some more backstory on The Fallen (or less confusion) couldve helped a lot

I had high expectation for ROTF, but I was disappointed in the movie (and I love the first TF). You can tell that the script was rushed, because there's not a good, cohesive story there at all, but merely one action scene strings to the next action scene with crappy storytelling inbetween, as if Bay just mapped out all the CGI sequence then came up with the story later. And for a movie that has The Fallen in its title, we really know very little about this ancient Transformer (who consequentally did not transform once in the movie), and you did not feel any sense of dread when he made his grand entrance into the battle in the end. And it doesn't help the fact that the powered-up Prime was able to kill him in a minute when they finally face-off during the climax. Plus the Decepticons were so pathetic I ended up rooting for them.

Hopefully TF3 will be better.

Well, that's certainly part of the problem. She's been given so much unnecessary screen time. And it's unnecessary because she's an absolutely boring character. Bay spent a lot of time forcing us to get to know a character that only has about enough personality to maybe fill five minutes.

Actually, she did. It's just that her character is largely forgettable. She's part of the production design not the script. The blonde chick in the first movie was a better character and a lot more memorable. The "tongue" girl in the second was also a lot more memorable that Fox. So, killing Fox off isn't gonna make a difference one way or another as far as the actual movie is concerned. Sure, it'll get LOTS of media attention but the actual movie won't be affected. It'll still be typical Bayplosion crap with Shia LaBeouf running around and screaming for 2hrs and 30mins.

Actually, she did. It's just that her character is largely forgettable. She's part of the production design not the script. The blonde chick in the first movie was a better character and a lot more memorable. The "tongue" girl in the second was also a lot more memorable that Fox. So, killing Fox off isn't gonna make a difference one way or another as far as the actual movie is concerned. Sure, it'll get LOTS of media attention but the actual movie won't be affected. It'll still be typical Bayplosion crap with Shia LaBeouf running around and screaming for 2hrs and 30mins.

i agree with you on the aussie from the first one, i liked that whole lil techy nerd group.

as for the blonde deceptiwhore she's forgettable. i dont even remember her except when brought up and she wasn't integral to the plot either.
