Did Zatanna appeared in Batman comics?

I imagine, if she was in BTAS, she's been in before too.

I believe she was in the comics, as what others here have said. If not then its because she is just a DCU character that has a connection to Batman. Plus, Paul Dini LOVES her. That might be the only reason they did the episode. lol

it's 4 discs though, and each has a 4th of the entire series on it...it's cheap for a tv series DVD...Deadwood is almost $80, for example...

Zatanna was created in the mid 60s,and had her first appearance in Hawkman. She has also been a JLA member from time to time. Not sure whats the first official "In continuity" meeting between Zatanna and Bruce/Batman.
