Okay, I just have a question....it's going to sound rude but I'm curious....in the comics SM uses web shooters and not organic webs....Is that because he never developed that power or....um....for other reasons? I know, I know....but seriously, what do you think?

1-it's no longer true. He has since developed the power to generate webbing organically.
2-in the beginning, when the comic first started, the idea of him having natural webs was never even talked about. I read somewhere that Stan considered it but was talked out of it b/c it was considered "too gross". (That could be total B.S., I don't know.) But no, he never had the power & until recently, the closest he ever came was w/the alien costume, which generated webbing out of itself.

BTW, this has been a major point of controversy since the first movie went into pre-pre-production.
