The Rai-Ryu-Sen is an off-shoot Hiten Mitsurugi Technique used by Amakusa Shogo to reflect light off the blade.

1. Why the Rai-Ryu-Sen isn't part of the Hiten Mitsurugi school of teaching?

2. What are the uses of the Rai Ryu Sen? Could it be used with Ken-ki for a more powerful shot?

ideas please

1. Shogo Amakusa developed the Rai Ryu Sen by himself. It is not a part of the Hiten Mitsurugi Ryu technique.

2. The Shimabara arc of the anime is not in continuity of Rurouni Kenshin. When the Shimabara arc was developed, Nobuhiro Watsuki was still writing the Jinchu and Rembrances arc of the manga. Being impatient, the producers of the show decided to make up crap. The show was canceled as a result of low ratings due to the Shimabara arc's crappiness and the Jinchu and Rembrances arc was never animated..

sadly so. but the fact the amakusa could evolve to develop it...shows that hiko himself could have done that much better right? how then would the techniques have fared?

Hiko probally could have developed such a technique if he wanted to
