Hopefully they'll be more interesting than "Bling-bling, yo hom...." ugh, I'm even tired of bashing it :o

Anyways, yeah, what else has this developer done? All I know about is Saints Row, and that's un-good. I don't really see how they'd get a publisher for three games after that. :confused:

Punisher
Red Faction 1 and 2
Summoner 1 and 2
Freespace 1 and 2
Decent 1 and 2
Volition should make a Red Faction sequel, none sucking natch, that actually has a totally destroyable world. Set in urban, sub-urban, boral, and sub-terrainian environments.
Punisher sequel that is more freeform, and has vehicle driving.

Lars has terrible taste. I need to start keeping track of what he doesn't like (it's usually based on the first level of the game, kind of like how you can judge a book based on the forward).

I judge books, games, movies, and music based on different things.
And yes games are usually judged by the demo or the first level (which is how far you can get in a 3 day rental). If they make it into the want to try category.

I don't know why you'd expect the first thrity minutes of Deus Ex to be better than The Matrix. You are the exact person EA makes games for. A great first level and then crap onward.
Play Deus Ex all the way through. You really can't talk about that game, or any game, until you give it the time it deserves.

It took me several tries to get past that demo, but trust me, if you play the game and stick with it, eventually you become really good, as in "by level five you could kill every enemy in level one in the same room, without getting hit". And besides, Ninja Gaiden Black has "Ninja Dog" mode, which is much easier. This game was one of the biggest reasons the Xbox rocked so much, how can you pass it up, it's sinful :(

Yeah, it's pretty much a given. Larger market share + obvious Capcom fanbase from Lost Planet and Dead Rising + using the "Capcom engine" that is based on stuff like Lost Planet and Dead Rising, games built from the ground up for 360 = DMC 360 by 2007.
