Neither, Bethany Cabe.

She was the one girl-friend that felt like an equal to him. Not just some pretty adornement, secretary, or party-girl. She was every bit as tough as Tony was if not tougher. Hell, she even wore the armor and fought Ultimo! Unfortunately TPTW didn't like her and so she was dropped.

Nope, tptw = The Powers That Were.

This was back in the 80s after all. Fat Joey and his buddies were still shooting marbles back then, not ripping the hearts out of comic book characters. Iron-man's a villian. Spider-man's an idiot and his gofer. Maybe next he'll make Cap a Nazi or turn Thor into Satan and make Loki Jesus Christ. :rolleyes: Anything for shock value after all. :mad:

I hear you, brother.

Eventually they might fix it and reveal that IM is being mind-controlled or something, but for the time being I guess we'll have to suffer. Fortunately I don't have to read it, and I'm not. When Marvel brings back the characters I knew and loved then I'll start buying again. Until then they aren't getting one penny out of me.
