The opening scene with Lex killed him for me. Godawful stuff there.
That was awful. I know Singer wanted establish how evil Lex is, but that's so below him.

SR never felt like a Singer-movie to me. Too long is the nicest comment I always give it. And it's double bad, because he CAN do SH-films, remember the great first X-Men.
Oh and Nolan should make BB3 when he wants, if you know what I mean...

That was my feeling exactly. It seemed like something ridiculous out of a Harry Potter movie or something.
Another lame Luthor moment is when Lois first sees him on the boat, and acts like she's face to face with Hannibal Lectre. But I was more like, "Come ON! He's about as scary as a puppy dog!"

But according to reviews, most of us fans, as well as the critics feel SR was what we wanted, at least as a reintroduction. And that's what sequels are for. I mean, not everybody absolutely loved BB. But now with TDK Nolan got to deliver more of what the fans wanted. Why not give Singer another chance to improve things? Also, I understand that a lot of fans wanted a continuation of the Donner universe, no? I'm not sure on that.
Your correct, alot did want the Donnerverse continued.
As for giving Singer another chance, I'd be willing to if he can show me he's got the chops to pull it off. If it's just more of the same stuff we got in S.R., then no thanx.
Like I said though, i'm open to it.
Word. I agree with what you said.
I thought he was already rich in S:TM. I mean, that underground lair sure was fancy!
Umm....maybe it because he spent a lot of money trying to destroy Superman perhaps? Also, maybe he lost money going to jail too. I know O.J. Simpson lost a lot of money ever since he first went to jail after killing Nicole & Ron.
Who is Anita?
A popular soul singer. :D :D
