Nice cast.
The Question
09-10-2006, 05:29 PM
Addition to the cast. Just so you know, I don't expect all of these characters to be in the movie, so this is alos casting sequels or a TV series:
Mayor Wesley Fermin: Steve Buscemi
http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/d/d4/Steve_buscemi.jpg
Mikado: LeVar Burton

Mayor Wesley Fermin: Steve Buscemi
http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/d/d4/Steve_buscemi.jpgSuch an awesome choice for the drunk-ass mayor. Infact, all of your cast are great, Q . Buscemi just happened to jump out at me because I really hadn't thought of him before.
The Question

I've had alot of time to think about it. Now if I could only figure out who's play Butch and Sundance. If it were an animated thing, I'd just have Redford and Numan do the voices. But alas.....

Nathan Fillion is good.

Fillion should be Hal Jordan!
The Question
09-18-2006, 06:06 PM
He'd be good for Hal, but I'd rather see him as Vic. Dye his hair strawberry blond and he looks a hell of alot like Vic, he's got the brooding smartass thing down, and I'm sure he could deal with Vic's inner conflicts and the evolution of his personal philosophies.

Hey great cast, Question. :O

I was watching Memento yesterday and the entire time I was thinking that Guy Pearce would make a great Vic Sage.

The Question

Pearce is too "holywood handsom." Vic's got to look like a regular guy.

Plus Pearce has the voice. That too.
The Question
10-09-2006, 06:50 PM
Oh, I get that he's handsom. But he's more average handsom, not hollywood handsom. Besides, I think Fillion looks more like how he was drawn in the O'Neil/Cowan series. And I think he'd just be better for the part.

Pearce still doesn't come off as hollywood handsom to me.
The Question
10-09-2006, 07:28 PM
I don't know. There's just something about him that bothers me for Vic. I'd rather see Fillion.

Yeah, I'm more of a Fillion fan meself--maybe because Firefly/Serenity was just too badass for it's own good, I dunno.

If I didn't really, really want Fillion as Hal Jordan, i'd agree with you guys. But I do, so Fillion as Question would be the worst news ever. Unless of course Green Lantern was cast beforehand, and I knew Fillion couldn't be Hal, then yeah that'd be pretty awesome.

Yeah, I'm more of a Fillion fan meself--maybe because Firefly/Serenity was just too badass for it's own good, I dunno.Nathan Fillion seems so much more like a Green Lantern (or even Green Arrow). But Question is not really "bada$$". His interesting points are that he is secretive, paranoid, and somewhat obtuse. He seems much more like a Lenny from Memento than a starfighter of some sort.

You forgot that he's a smartass with anger issues and a driving need to understand who he is, which he makes up for by beating people up. Fillion would own the part.
