Hype Summer Camp ....Of DEATH!!

I'm bored as hell, and with Halloween not TOO far away I figured I'd start a spooky whodunnit fan-fic. Where things aren't what they seem, and a killer lurks... who could it be?

CHAPTER ONE: THE DREAM



Master Bruce let out a horrendous shriek that echoed through the camp, and anyone within a mile would have heard it loud and clear, and most of them would have thought it was a woman. A flashlight clicked on and shined in his face, he squinted hard and covered his eyes.

Erzengel: Dude, what the hell??!!!

MB opened his eyes and focused past the light, seeing most of the other campers standing by their beds, staring at him in shock. The door to the boy's den flew open and 2 camp counselors ran in.

Drakon: Dudes... we said NO girls allowed in here after curfew! :mad:

DOG LIPS: Come on out, young lady! You're in big trouble. :mad:

bored: Sirs, there's no girl in here, that was Master Bruce.

MB: I'm.. I'm sorry, I had the worst nightmare I've ever had.

Master Chief: What was it aboot?

MB: I... I don't remember :csad:

Drakon looked back out the door to see Dew, Daisy, and several of the girl campers standing outside in their pajamas, with curious looks on their faces. Drak waved them off and gave a thumbs up, signaling it was all being taken care of. As he watched the girls head across the field to their sleeping den, he looked at DOG LIPS with an angry look on his face.

DOG LIPS: Right... MB, please try to control yourself. The rest of youse guys get back to your beds, show's over.

Everyone made their way to bed as the counselors left. Erzengel yawned and sat down on his bed. But before he could switch off his flashlight, a hand reached for it.

jaguarr: Say homie, can I borrow this, I really need to take a pee-pee. jag.

Erz: Sure, knock yourself out.

jaguarr: Thanks, I'll be right back. jag.

Erz punched his pillow several times to fluff it up, then yawned again. It was pitch black in the den, but the light from the moon outside lit up the field between the dens. Erz glanced out the window and saw the glare from the flashlight heading towards the outhouse. Just as he was about to lay down, he noticed the light passed by the outhouse and headed further, into the woods.

Erz: Hmm. Wonder where the hell he's going.

Erz was too tired to really look into it, so he pulled the blanket over himself and hit his head to the pillow. In just a matter of seconds he was asleep, snoring loudly.

[DOG LIPS]

CHAPTER TWO: GIRLS AND SHORTS.


The sun rose over the valley and lit up the secluded camp, waking up the campers and starting the day. Inside the girl's sleeping quarters, several girls were already awake.

Spidermanluvr28: Camp has been pretty damn boring so far.

DBella: I agree. At least some of the guys are hot.

Holly: That Kipobe boy is freakin' foine.

DBella: Kipobe? Is he the one who wears those tight little biker shorts all the time?

Holly: Yup. :heart:

Sml28: Ew.


Meanwhile, at the counselor's building, DOG LIPS, Drakon, and C. Lee were heading out to meet the others and begin the day's events.

Drakon: Hang on bros, let's stop by the outhouse, I gotta take a huge dump.

DOG LIPS: Aight.

Drak: I mean a MEGA-CRAP.

C. Lee: ...K.

Drak: The kind of dump that makes a man a man, ya know?

DL: ...Dude.

They made their way around the boy's den when they saw a huge crowd around the outhouse. Morg was with them, and he waved for them to hurry up, waving his hands wildly.


Erz walked down the steps of the quarters and watched as several guys ran by him towards the outhouse. Wilhelm was running the other way, right at him.

Erzengel: What's up?

Wilhelm: Hurry up you skunk butthole, something happened!

The two broke into a jog and they joined a huge group of guys near the outhouse, everyone was looking down. Erz made his way through the crowd and looked to the ground. Right in front of the doorway was his flashlight, covered in blood.


C. Lee: Everyone stay calm, we'll handle this.

Lackey: Wait, who's flashlight is-.....For the love of Gawd, Kipobe, one of your nuts is hanging out!

Kipobe: Why the hell are you looking, perv?? :cmad:

Drakon: Probably because you're standing over the bloody flashlight with your legs wide open.

Kipobe: Oh. Sorry. :O

DOG LIPS: Who's flashlight is that?

Erz stood forward and walked over to the bloody mess.

Erz: It's mine, but I gave it... wait.. where's jag??

jaguarr: Right here. jag. :huh:

Erz looked up to see jag standing next to Morg, with a confused look on his face. Erz was puzzled as well, but he was also trembling with fear.

Erz: I gave you my flashlight last night to go potty.

jag: Yeah, and I put it back on your desk last night when I was done, guy. jag.

Erz: That's a bunch of bull-

C. Lee: Relax, guys! No need to get hostile. We'll figure this out. First thing we need to do is get a head count and see who's here and who's not.

DL: That does us no good, Danger Mouse took several of the boys out fishing about 30 minutes ago, as well as a few girls.

Drak: Plus Dew took several of the kids out rafting to get an early start before the storm hits.

Amazing Lee: ....What storm? :wow:

CHAPTER THREE: THE LAKE.


Dew and several campers glided slowly along the large lake's soft current in various rafts and floaties. Dew heard a faint sound of thunder and lifted her head from the raft and waved for everyone's attention.

Dew: OK, let's start heading for shore now, guys. Storm's comin'.


Further up the shore Danger Mouse and a few campers sat along the dock, each with a fishing rod. DM looked to the sky when he heard a distant rumble of thunder.

DM: OK people, let's give it a few more minutes then we'll head back. I'm going to go get our stuff ready, everyone just stay here and keep fishing. I'll be right back.

DM handed his fishing rod to the camper next to him, then got up and walked down the dock.

Not too far from them was a small hill that hovered above the south end of the lake. 2 campers stood at the top, laughing and looking over the edge.

Eric Draven: I'll jump if you jump first.

Sabretooth: Ha ha ha. You wuss!!! Fine, I'll jump first.

Sabre took a few steps back, then hesitated for a second as he took a deep breath. He then got a running start and leaped far from the edge of the cliff, cannon-balling hard into the water. He broke the surface and let out a loud groan.

Sabre: The water went up my ass!!!

He looked up to the hill and didn't see Draven. He rubbed the water from his eyes and focused, searching the edge for any sign of Eric.

Sabre: Jump you coward!!!

He swam further back to get a better view of the hill and saw no one. The entire area was empty, no sign of Draven.

Sabre: .... Eric?

CHAPTER FOUR: THE FIRST BODY.



Two counselors, Lightning Strikez!, and Truthteller burst into the girl's cabin, both breathing hard as if they had just ran a marathon.

LS: Everyone, please get some shoes and a coat, we need everyone in the main building for an emergency meeting.

Daisy: What's going on, guys?

TT: Um ... nothing major, just doing an official head count.

Daisy: But aren't half the people at the lake?

LS pulled Daisy out the door as calmly as he could. DBella watched as he whispered something in her ear, then her eyes went wide for a second. She watched as Daisy and LS walked back into the cabin, with forced smiles on their faces.

Daisy: OK people, let's get moving. Just a head count is all, let's go, let's go. :)


Meanwhile, in the main building, DL and Drak were motioning for everyone to take a seat, boys on one side, girls on the other. DL walked over to the doorway and looked out, seeing Daisy and the others walking up the trail. He felt a cold hand on his shoulder and looked back to see Master Bruce with sweat all over his face.

DL: Don't touch me, fatty.

MB: This is serious, I need to talk to you. In private.

DL: Hetero-private, right?

MB: ......

DL: Fine, fine, let's go.

The two of them went out the side entrance and walked towards the back of the building. Right before MB could speak DL raised his hand and halted him.

DL: Oi! Get your ass in the main building, we got a meeting going on.

MB looked back to see Erzengel walking out of the forest.

Erz: Sorry, I had to take a leak, and I sure as hell wasn't going in the outhouse.

DL: Yeah, yeah, get in there ya bum. :cmad:

MB waited until Erz went into the building and closed the door behind him, then he took a deep breath.

MB: Ok... I KNOW this is going to sound crazy, but I had a dream about the murder.

DL: ...... Who said anything about a murder?

MB: Um, the bloody flashlight.

DL: Oh yeah. Go on.

MB: Well, I had a nightmare about it the night it happened. I know it sounds crazy.

DL: Go on.

MB: I had a dream that a man in a large raincoat and a trashbag over his head, with eye-holes cut out, killed someone in the outhouse, then dragged them into the forest.

DL: Go on.

MB: Thats it, that's all I had to say. I have no idea who was killed, or who the killer was, but I swear I dreamt it!

DL: Go on.

MB: .....Dude, are you even listening to me?? This is serious!

DL: Yeah, I heard you. Where did the killer drag the body?

MB thought about it for a bit and looked around the camp, looking at the tree-line. He paused at an area behind the girl's cabin and pointed. DL looked that way then sighed aloud. He waved for MB to follow him and the two walked across the field towards the dark area behind the cabin. MB got ahead of DL and stopped inbetween three large trees. He looked around at the ground frantically.

MB: It was here. Right here.

DL: Right... so where's the body, Rain Man?

MB: I... I don't know, but this is where it was in my dream.

DL: You fat fu-

Suddenly a blood-covered corpse landed on them both, knocking them to the ground.

CHAPTER FIVE: THE STORM.




DOG LIPS kicked the body off him and got to his feet, breathing heavily. He watched as MB rolled away from the body and sat against a tree, almost crying. DL put his foot on the side of the corpse and pushed it over on it's back.

DL: Holy spit.... that's Equint!!! ..He's...He's dead!!!

MB: I told you.... I told you! :csad:

DL took a step back and looked over at MB. MB looked up and saw a strange look on DL's face.

MB: What? ...What?!!

DL: Dream my ass, you killed him!!

Before MB could answer, DL ran off towards the main buidling. MB hesitated, then got to his feet and ran off into the forest.


Elsewhere....


Danger Mouse led the way for the campers that were at the lake, followed closely by Dew. As he walked he reached his arm out and held his hand in the air. Several rain drops slapped against his hand. It was at least a 15-20 minutes walk back to camp, and he had the feeling they were going to get soaked.

DM: Everyone, let's speed things up or we're going to end up getting caught in a big storm.

Sabretooth broke through the crowd and made his way to the front, then stood between Dew and DM.

Sabre: Wait, we can't go. Eric Draven is missing. He was with me at the cliff, then when we got our stuff to leave, he never showed. I... I miss him.

Dew: Ok, Ok, relax. I'll go back and look for him, the rest of you head back to camp.

DM: Are you sure? I can go, and-

Dew: I SAID I'll go look for him. Keep on the trail, I'll catch up.

DM didn't like the idea, but he really needed to get the others back. He turned and led the way as the others followed. Dew made her way back towards the lake when a greasy camper ran up to her.

kainedamo: I'm going with you.

Dew was about to yell at him when she looked back and saw that the others were already a ways ahead of them.

Dew: Dammit. Fine, let's go.

The two of them hurried down to the edge of the lake as the rain began to fall. Thunder rumbled through the sky, and in a matter of minutes the sky was almost black from the dark clouds. Several of the counselors had heard about the storm coming, but they had no idea how bad it was going to be.

CHAPTER SIX: POWAH!


Camp-leader Malice stood at the head of the room and looked out at the tables full of campers. Danger Mouse and most of the lake campers had just arrived and taken seats in the front, using towels to dry off as he started to speak.

Malice: Now, everyone listen up! My pants are--

Just then, the power cut off in the entire camp. Thunder rumbled loudly and shook the walls of the cabin a bit.

Malice: Dammit! Someone get the flashlights. Everyone just stay seated.

Drakon put his hands against the wall and used it to guide him towards the closet where the flashlights were stored. Malice stood in the darkness and sighed aloud. He wondered what else could go wrong as he saw a faint light at the end of the building. He looked up to see several people run out the back door into the rain.

Malice: Hey!! HEY!! I said stay seated!!!



DOG LIPS stood under the porch of the boy's cabin and walked back and forth, keeping his eyes on the trees where the body was. He took a deep breath, then got ready to make a run for the main building in the rough rain. Just as he was about to take off, he saw a small group of campers run across the yard and then into the cafeteria. He looked back at the forest and lightly slammed his fist into the wall next to him.

DL: Crap! Damn kids.

He then covered his head with the hood of his raincoat and broke into a light jog towards the cafeteria.






ELSEWHERE..........



The rain was pouring and the entire area was starting to fill up with muddy puddles and slight flooding in some areas. Dew and kainedamo tried their best to keep up a fast pace as they ran through the muddy forest. Dew managed to get several yards ahead of kainedamo and kept up her speed even when kd slowed down a bit.

Dew: Hurry up, kainedamo!! We need to take shelter in one of the lake stations!

kainedamo: Dew! Wait up!!! Dew! Dammit, I said wait!

Just then his foot slammed into a hole in the ground and he fell face-first into the ground. He got back to his feet and tried to shake off the mud on his legs. The rain was falling harder and harder, making it difficult for him to even keep his eyes open.

kainedamo: Son of a Dan!

He looked up and saw a person standing in front of him. He wiped the rain from his eyes several times, trying to get a good look at the person. When he did, his eyes went wide and he took a step back. Before him was a person in a black rain coat, with a trash bag over their head, and two eye-holes cut out. In the person's hands was a red fire axe.

kainedamo: Dew? What the hell are you doing? ..Dew?

The person swung their arms back and brought the axe down with a vicious thrust, landing it square in the middle of kainedamo's skull, splitting his wig in half. He fell to his knees and let out several gasps for air as he looked up at his killer. The killer then grabbed the axe with both hands, putting a foot on kd's stomach, then ripped the axe out.

I was half and half on it.

I didn't like how they crammed in superhero stuff with horror, using My Chemical Romance (They just seemed out of place), and most of the awards went to people that didn't deserve them.

That being said, it was fun to watch.

Frank Miller won "Best comic writer" for All-Star Batman and Robin. While I think he's very talented, I don't think it's his best work.

Oh, definitely. The first act, where the world reacts to his return, it's just done so well. I'm a big fan of Bryan Singer, and I think he really nailed this.
Also, Kevin Spacey was awesome. He looked like he was having the time of his life playing Lex.
