Many things I want to see from this event. Heros dying or getting alot of bones broken. Fight between hulk and both teams of avngers at the same TIME. Iron mans armmor broken wolverine torn in half, and caps shield broken.With hulk sitting on a thron on top of all the heros in the marvel universe.

This'll be great. I really liked JRJr's Hulk stuff from a few years ago. I'm just astounded that they're giving the big summer event to Pak, I mean, he can clearly write a mean Hulk story, but past history dictates that a bigger name would get it. Uhm, anyway, it's nice to see the Hulk be written well, and it will be great to see him factor into the Marvel U more next year.:up:

This summer you will be blown away. Marvel torn apart by a Civil War, brother against brother. As the casualties have piled up, mended fences are repaired, while others torn down the Marvel hero's try to pick up what's left of their lives. Then a ship lands for no reason in the middle of NY -

Cap. America - "What's that?"

Spiderman - "My God, I think it's Hulk"

Hulk - "ARRGHEOIDFJOEMS"

Cap. America - "Hulk? What happened, where were you, we coulda used your help?"

Hulk - "ARRRGGGHHH. HUUUULLLKKK SMAAASSSSHHH!!! Hulk crush weaklings that sent him in space!!!"

Wolverine - "Um...why were you in space bub?"

Reed Richards - "Whelp...look at the time, guess I better see why Sue went to Namor's place about now."

Iron Man - "Yaaa....um Sue...so how's she doing Reeds? She still hot? Maybe I should come with you?" *whispers* "Hulk can't breathe underwater right?"

Dr. Strange - "Ehem...didn't I say Hulk was going to kill you?"

Plot needs nothing lol. Just Hulk coming back pissed and wanting revenge, smashing anyone and anything in his path.

Damn right, just hope PAD get's a push into the limelight after all the good work he's been doing on that book. This hulk event is definately a step in the right direction. His writing is pwning millers right now

PAD took one of the characters I could care less about and a book that was in a forever writing slump and made it one of the must reads of Marvel. If that doesn't make him a heavy hitter of Marvel I don't know what will.

well come on, Hulk as a character isn't really going anywhere! Bruce Banner can either be cured, or just continue the same "Im a monster" crap another 40 plus years. I mean hes fighting gladitor events on another planet, marvel is going to bring him back home soon, and then what? Whats comes after 2007 and word war Hulk, where do you go from their? I mean Hulk/Bruce Banner as a character, has hit a point a big wall, and cannot go any further. You either kill off the charatcer, or we are stuck with more tired plot line, where Bruce Banner almost finds a cure, but he loses it or whatever:whatever:

Ive read all of Bruce jones run, and alot of other stuff before that. I just think it would be fitting for Bruce Banner to get his peace, and the only way that seems possible is for the Hulk to die. The event is called World war Hulk, a perfect place to bring it all to one big end.

Youre misreading it, its a big event, a corssover in the sense that there will be different heroes within the actual story but will not lead out to 57 different tie-in titles like Civil War. In essence, its a stand a lone story, that might get a tie in or two. Think Identity Crisis.

I think this would lead Hulk into becoming the Maestro, which you can see signs of it in planet Hulk. Also with the return of the Hulk and Spidey back in black, its not going to be cool to be Iron Man in 07. I can see Spidey teaming up with Hulk especially if he bonds with the symbiote again. Finally a Hulk/Sentry fight cuase Hulk has whooped Thor's *** to many times now. :o

From what I got, by no more huge crossovers this and next year he meant no having to buy 50+ issues to follow the story from several different characters like Darth said. Civil War encompasses everything from X-Men, to Avengers, and all the little obscure characters or "B" list.

WW Hulk will likely feature other characters than Hulk for sure, but the biggest parts will be in Hulk, or World War Hulk comic itself. Possibly maybe the Mighty Avengers book having a few tie ins or something if Starks still in the armor. It might go 7 or so issues long, no one knows outside of Marvel yet, but most likely won't feature the entire MU, I doubt we'll be seeing Howard the Duck and Falcon getting smashed by Hulk :).

Yeah but this time its a usefull event written by a writer who doesn't hate america or a writter who likes writting crap. Were talking about Greg freaking Pak he writes great and im sure he loves America!

But it's still a sales gimmick event. For once I would like stories worth buying because they're good stories, not because they're tied into some massive event.

Oh, and Greg Pak is overrated. Phoenix Endsong did nothing but reretread old Phoenix material, and let's not even mention his "Rise of the Imperfects" miniseries.

Hmm. Found 'Hulkmageddon' to have a better ring, but even then the event sounds good. I've sort of been anticipating this since Namor first spoke out against his exile.

Oh, and for those who think the Hulk will kill Wolverine...don't make me laugh too hard. Nitro flayed Logan down to a skeleton and his healing factor brought him back in a matter of minutes. The Hulk snapping his neck would be yet another milestone in him proving how his healing factor can overcome even death.

Meh. I really don't care what happens to Reed. He doesn't seem to have a valid reason for acting the way he has lately, and even though he's made some dubious decisions in the past (saving Galactus comes to mind) I just wouldn't really feel anything if the Hulk tore him a new one.
