So anyone reading this? The basis for the famous Chan Wook Park movie of the same name?

Volume 1 was recently released for the first time in the US.

It's good stuff, I like it so far, Park's movie is a hell of a lot more messed up though.

So has anyone here taken a look at the manga before, and if the movie deviates from the manga at all? Like does the manga also have the incest as well? Quite frankly, I don't see how this girl in volume 1 can be his daughter due to the timeline.

Why do you hate mangas and like anime?

FMA was based on a fantastic manga you know.

Also, the Oldboy manga and movie aren't the same either. They are pretty different.

I've read the 1st volume and I really like it. It doesn't look like it's heading towards the same direction as the movie. I mean the guy doesn't remember if he has a wife or girlfriend. Or that he has any children. Then again ...

The hyponitzing woman might get thrown in there to fix that up or add a twist that differs from the movie.

You are sort of ticking me off. Have you seen the manga? What the anime did for the first 22 or so episodes is virtually identical to Arakawa-sensei's manga.
