What are your Top 5 Star Wars saga fights and action sequences ?

There's been a lot of Star Wars talk lately and a lot of it quite negative so i thought i'd start a thread on a positive vein about the saga's action:yay:

Just post your lists and maybe a bit about why you like the particular fights and sequences:cwink:

Top 5 Fights

1.Obi Wan vs Jango Fett on the landing deck on Kamino
i love the rain swept look of this and even though it's short the interaction between two opposite styles is great see as the high tech armour laden Jango uses his modern weaponry against the oldschool Jedi Knight

2.Luke vs Vader in the city of clouds
Probably the most dramatic fight of any movie,it has so many twists,it starts with Vader overconfident and trying to get in Luke's head and then Luke shows how far he has come and fains the slight upper hand which pisses Darth off and he goes into uber Sith gear and completely overpowers Luke....of course we all know how it ends

3.Obi Wan and Qui Gon Jin vs Darth Maul on Naboo
Easily the most spectacular fight of the saga with some stunning choreography and the best villain of the PT finally unleashed

4.Luke vs Vader on the Death Star
The companions piece of the ESB classic,the rematch if you like and it plays well off the first showing Luke as now more powerful and this time unleashing his aggression to protect his loved one.
it's also cool the way it flirts with Luke's dark side as he finishes Darth off.

5.Yoda vs The Emperor
I was torn with this last one whether to go with Dooku's fight or with Mace/Sidious but i think the 2 most powerful characters in the saga going at it in an epic battle that includes force powers and saber fighting tops them especially the great section in the senate chambers

I have to agree with this. The wasted time putting in stupid **** like Jabba in ANH could've been used to make the lightsabers look better.

1. Vader vs Luke in Cloud City (ESB)
This has a much better build-up and better action. Luke is going up against his greatest enemy: The man who killed his Master, his father, destroyed the Jedi Order and the Republic. He is not holding back but still is no match for Darth Vader.

2. Battle of Endor (ROTJ)
I don't mean the retarded fight with the ewoks, I mean the space battle. That is definately the best space fight in cinema. It was always my favorite level to play in Roque Leader.

3. Qui-Gonn and Obi-Wan vs Darth Maul (TPM)
The only good thing in all of the PTs. This duel actually had a fight, not CGI cartoons fighting off in the distance. Seeing Darth Maul and Qui-Gonn fight was awesome. Liam Neeson owns (even after saving Jar-Jar).

4. Battle of Yavin (ANH)
The Death Star battle was such an accomplishment back then and still is today. The final product is so rewarding for the work put in.

5. Luke, Vader, and the Emperor
Most of this is just talking with an occassional duel between Vader and Luke, it is still the climax of the series.

I always thought it was Luke who started out over-confident. I think Vader was baiting him by trying to look hesitant in the beginning. Once Vader gave Luke a test run and guaged his abilities he stopped playing around and threw the kitchen sink at him...literally lol.

Luke was really scared of Vader. It showed. But he tried to keep it cool, like if he really had a chance..Vader wanted to turn him..so it was like a Father to Son lesson. If you think about it, Vader ended up being a really good dad.

I'm sorry but, #5 gets me every time. I love the Hoth battle with that AT-ST, but I really love the scene of the AT-ST being destroyed by the ewoks with a tree battering ram. That scene is classic.
