If it's camp, I wouldn't mind attending it. I think it's a cool idea. I've often wondered what happened to those guys and it's nice that we will get to find out.

As long as it doesn't get reduced to a sci-fi take on the final episode of "Seinfeld" where all the guest characters from the entire series showed up for that one ridiculous show. This could end up as a total "jumping the shark" move with Aquaman riding the waters.

-so sayeth the mastermind-

The episode is titled "Justice". I'm sure they mean Justice Society (i.e. for members who do not have their own major motion picture or tv show). Apparently Joel Silver (who owns the rights to the Wonder Woman film) would not allow Millar and Gough to use the character on the show. I don't know if the same disposition exists with The Batman, but based on the fact that the character was just a reference in "Birds of Prey" I think it does.

They need to add Adam West to the cast of Smallville. Maybe as a time-traveling Bruce Wayne!

That's practically a superhero costume on GA. It must really be the last season if they're bending the "no tights" rule already.

That's practically a superhero costume on GA. It must really be the last season if they're bending the "no tights" rule already. I think the embargo only applies to the Clark Kent character. I think the costume can not be associated with the character because he (Clark) would be construed as Superboy (a charcater which TWX and DC no longer have the copyrights to since 2004). Prior to 2004 there may have been an agreement with the studios and the series not to have the character in costume so as to not take away from the "Superman Returns" project that was in developement and production at the time.

I dont know about this show anymore. Thank god its the last season Season 7 will be the last one. And actually there's talks of an 8th season already... I don't think anyone can difinitively say exactly when the last season of "Smallville" will be since there are a lot of factors that may determine its fate. First of all (and this is trivial) poor ratings could have the series axed in mid season (though I doubt that this will be the case). Secondly there is a copyright infringement trial scheduled regarding the rights to the Superboy character and a ruling on weather or not "Smallville" is a show about Superboy or a young Clark Kent is pending. If the ruling is in favor of the Siegel family then TWX would be in violation of the copyright and the series could end soon after that :csad:. If it is proven that TWX is not in violation, then the series could continue so long as it has good ratings :yay:.

That's probably why they are calling it "Justice" (Society). It's an organization for those who don't have their own show or major motion picture (although Flash kind of breaks that argument). I'm quite sure Clark is not joining it since he already expressed his disintrest in the episoded titled "Aqua".

They've already screwed up the entire DC universe by bringing on as many characters as they can as teen- or 20-something characters.
Is Smallville a kind of superhero/villian Burmuda Triangle where everybody ends up at one time or another?
I like the show, I like Lois, and I just adore Chloe, but it really yanks my shorts when they make Lana a whiney, self-absorbed brat and have Lois Lane living in Smallville in the same age bracket as Clark Kent.
They didn't meet each other until he went to work at the Daily Planet.
I guess they'll bring in Bruce Wayne as the arch enemy of Lex Luthor next, then we'll see some ass-kicking, I guess.
Still, this show's continuity is so screwed up it should come with a disclaimer that it has no connection to any comic book whatsoever.

It probably won't be Batman for the same reason Clark can't appear as Superboy/Superman. (Can you say Lawsuit?)
It will and probably should be Bruce Wayne pursuing his training for becoming the Batman. Maybe with a comically deadpan Alfred being dragged around with him.
Now there is a whole new spin-off they've probably never thought of- GOTHAM- the untold story of Bruce Wayne AFTER his parents death.
I'll bet they could milk that one for at least 5 seasons.
(I want credit for this)

Personally, I think John Byrne's versions of Smallville, Metropolis and Superman in general have been the best stories ever written about the Superman legend. Only exception being "Kingdom Come" of course.

Nice editing on that first one.
Where did the Green Lantern footage come from? an independant fan movie? and why didn't they splice in Tom Tyler's Captain Marvel?
I'm surprised you haven't seen Sandy Collora's "World's Finest".
It's better than these because it's not sliced together from different movies.
It, along with his "Batman: Dead End" are probably the best you'll see until a BIG BUDGET movie is made. (Even then, for a 'trailer', Dead End is better than any Batman film I've seen.)

Only exception being "Kingdom Come" of course. Ya know they actually tried to do that. It was called Bruce Wayne: Shadow of the Bat or something like that. The role of Bruce was tossed to either Joshua Jackson or the Vanderbiek guy. But they instead went for Batman Begins. Wizard had an article on it a couple of years back.

But they instead went for Batman Begins. Wizard had an article on it a couple of years back. That is correct they tried to do it and had like 5 shows written already and in one of them Clark Kent was suppose to show up and help Bruce out but then they got the script to Batman Begins and liked the idea so much they passed on the show and ran with SV under the same idea for that Batman show. The reason for passing on it they didn't want something like what we (Superman Fans) got when Routh was cast over Welling.

I liked Grayson. Excellent story and the production was pretty good for the ultimate shoestring budget. These were all better than most of the blockbuster movie productions because they stuck to the original characters and costumes. The story lines were quite well done too.
Shame they didn't finish working on the Shadow of the Bat series.
I would have liked to have seen that.
Maybe they'll incorporate some of it in a Smallville episode with Bruce Wayne guesting.
They better do something before Welling and company turn 30 and they are all still in their first year of college.

Well, Jorel did give him the knowledge contained in the 12 known galaxies, so he probably won't need any more schoolin'.
He's going to have a hard time getting a job with just his High School diploma unless he aces every equivalency test he's given.
So when do you think they'll bring on The Hawks (Conner's) or the Martian Manhunter or even, gasp!- Billy Batson?
He'll probably show up as the same age as Clark.

That's nice and all for a television program but I'll commit hari kari if they use any of these people in a big screen version.
