View Full Version : Microsoft is still trying to get WoW!

In the new EGM, the Rumor Mill talks about this, when I thought it was a dead topic.

So astute rumor readers should remember I mentioned a while back that the insanely popular massively multiplayer role-playing game World Of Warcraft is likely coming to next-gen consoles. Well, I happened to hear some gossip that supports my original claim - It appears that Microsoft has been working on a keyboard peripheral for the 360 as a way to woo developer Blizzard to make WOW a console exclusive. Oh, and if that works out, I hear it'll also be making a time-machine peripheral to help players recover from loss of girlfriends, social lives, and jobs... sold separately, of course.

I'm not a big WoW fan, but I know enough that if MS could get this to 360-only, it would sell consoles immediately!!

I don't know if it would. Everyone playing WoW is... already playing WoW.

I think this rumor is... FALSE.

It is a freaking addiction. I know some people who play it, and it sucks you in.

WOW is addictive.

my best buddy and another friend both play WOW.

i chose not to get the game when they did, and nowadays i rarely talk to my best friend (except to drink) and that other buddy has a 2.5 GPA now.

go figure.

It makes sense, since they have been trying to get WoW for a long time.
