I looked for threads of a similar subject before making my thread and didn't find anything. I haven't seen the Hype book club thread in ages. And was making a thread to tell me really necessairy?

For you Superman fans I would get the book It's Superman I saw the add here and wondered what it was about so I picked it up. It is a great read of Superman based around the time he was created the late 1930's and places him in the real world. I would say it is a must for golden age Superman fans.
