The movie won a bunch of awards, including the main one of the night, The Ultimate Scream, plus best director for Nolan and best screenplay. On a side note, V For Vendetta got best sci-fi movie and, surprise, Brandon Routh was picked as best superhero. The Wolvie/Jean making out was picked best "flesh" scene and Jessica Alba was picked as "sexiest" superhero - all that cleavage paid off for something, heh...

My question is...what the heck does "Ultimate Scream" mean? Screaming meaning..most frightening? Neh. Most fanboy-squealing? Maybe. Most badass? Oh yes sir. :)

Are the Spike TV awards kind of like what the MTV movie awards in that they nominate hipper movies that the audience enjoys?

I should be excited that all these comic movies won. And I am.

But then I remember this is an awards show on SpikeTV. And then realize the Mtv awards are of more importance.

How can Batman Begins and Superman Returns get awards in the same year? :huh:

Begins was released in June 2005! Bit late to be giving it awards.

I heard that it just feels like filler, just to set up III.

I don't know.....I'll watch the flick just b/c Depp is ****ing funny. And the first one was just great.

But, that's the word on the street. And I would know....I'm gangsta.

Don't say things are overrated if you haven't seen it.

I have and I didn't think it was. Of course people think POTC is overrated. And we know that's bull**** since it's only a tiny minorty the size of a small african village that thinks that. Ya dig?

Though it is funny how people say POTC is the new Star Wars and POTC2 was received the same way Empire was. Just makes me chuckle.

And it was a joke folks.

I've seen POTC2 and I think it's pretty overrated.

You see, I watched this show and it lost all credibility when Devil's Rejects won best villians and the last bit with was about Ozzy and The guy who looks like Pee Wee Herman with black hair.
