The Iron Man not of the last 20 minutes may be a a-hole, but the original story and the one w/ the history-Stark isn't like that-I mean he's still the Invincible Iron Man, so some of the rich man prick tendencies are more of a ruse. Batman has more drive, more discipline and is more reclusive.

Tony Stark is reckless in his personal life (alcohol) and is not as driven as Batman.

Where Batman relies on his own phsyical prowess Stark relies on technology.

well, its more about the debate of DC and Marvel... DC has batman, Marvel has ironman...

million/billionairs with no super powers and alteregos.

Ironman is more capable of saving a world... while batman owns the streets and city...

Green Arrow has never been identified as the intelligent superhero. Batman and Iron Man are near top of the class in terms of intelligence, rely heavily on high tech gadgetries, and both are the wealthiest CEOs of each own universe.

I think the last one is the reason why Iron Man is compared more with Batman than Green Arrow.
