Ricky Addison Reed - cast as Robin for Burton's 1989 movie. You can see the scenes he would have been in on the special edition DVD. Addison missed out when Robin was removed from the script. He would have been 13 at the time of filming.

Marlon Wayans was cast for Batman Returns as a mechanic who worked on the Batmobile in the Batcave with an 'R' on his overalls. You can see Bruce Wayne taking his place in the finished movie. Wayans was paid his entire fee. He would have been 20 years old at the time of filming.

Huh. I never knew Robin was originally going to be in B89.

Ricky Addison Reed would have been good for Robin. I could imagine him in Dick Grayson's intended scenes.

Leo DiCaprio was also up for Robin. He probably would've been great, too.

Christian Bale was up for Robin but go turned down in Forever. Talk about laughing last.

Will Smith was also interested in the Robin role for Forever, and on the DVD, Schumacher says he saw Ewan McGregor and Alan Cumming for the role.

I'm sorry.

How about 'Toby Stephens (son of Maggie Smith) auditioned for Forever too'?
