This is a cool manga and anime.
I didn't think there was a thread or that many fans of Get Backers here, so this is the thread where we can discuss it.

Yeah remember when Ginji first beat Jackel?
I thought he was doomed for sure and Ban would have to jump in.

Yeah. I was surprised Ginji won.

I don't watch the anime and Im not that far in the manga, but does anyone know if Ban and Ginji fight?

They do. Ban in particular can fight hand to hand pretty well. Ginji if I recall has a split persona or something in the manga, the God of Lightning or something or other. the story revolves around a bunch of supersoldiers called VOLTs.

No I know they know how to fight, but I mean do they fight each other.

Oh yes. Over the dumbest things. Once Ban agreed to play bodyguard to a less-than-favorable client which Ginji didn't approve of. Later the two fight. They have fought many-a-time but their fights have been inconclusive at best but if you ask me, if Ban tried hard enough, he could easily beat Ginji

I really like this anime. Ban and Ginji are a great pairing.

I just finished the 15 volumes that were released in the U.S.
Im very happy with the story so far.
