Who are you referring to, D.L. Hawkins, Niki's husband?! If so, he does. He can phase through objects. I'm hoping they show him escaping prison in a flashback.

In the preview:
Watching Nathan fly away looked so cool. Can't wait to see it in action. Hopefully he is embracing his powers and starting to except what Mohinder and Peter has to say about others possessing powers.
Also, Future Hiro looks so cool. His powers are increasing. Traveling to the past, freezing an entire train (and carrying a weapon and mastering English - who knew!!).
Love this show.

D.L. is basically Kitty Pride. Only he's going to be a raging black man, instead of some little teenage girl.
But, he's basically the same.

It seems the producers have heard our demands and given us what we asked for. When Hiro was first introduced to us, we requird more. Every scene with the adorable and loveable japanese Hero to be just enflamed our desire to see him.
And now, to satisfy the high demand for him they give us Hiros. What is better than one Hiro? Two! ^_^

I know. It was a bloody joke.
The actual title is "Hiro's" not Hiros or Hiros'. Big difference
Hiros would mean multiple Hiros. "Look at all the Hiros, there must be at least two of them!"
Hiro's would imply belonging to. "That is Hiro's bad ass katana!"
Hiros' I guess I can describe it as if it's an organization. "This is the Hiros' chronicles."
As for which one it's supposed to be. I don't have a bloody clue. :)

I'm sure it will be though. It probably has something to do with their powers. Otherwise, why would they use it as the "Heroes" symbol?

When Nathan flies in episode 5, it looks like he is escaping away from those two guys, but I don't think that's what is happening. Those two guys know he can fly, I'm sure, just like they knew the cop can read minds. So, Nathan is probably under mind control from the black dude, and they have him demonstrate his power to see how far along he is. They even mentioned in episode 4 that the heroes were further along than what they thought when the cop was able to read Claire's dad's mind even with the black guy trying to supress him.
Another thing that stood out to me was when they said "Save the cheerleader, save the world." So, apparently the whole world is in danger and not just New York City.

Right, I understand that. That's why I said the title is actually "Hiro's" and not Hiros or Hiros'.
But there is actually two of them. Past and Present. Two being the plural would be look at the pair of Hiros. Or would it be Hiros', the rules for names are sketchy, I forget. :)

ok one thing ive been wandering is what exactly does "Save the cheerleader, Save the world" mean? is it like saying "in order to save the world you must first save the cheerleader" as in the whole world is depending on her fate, or is it just like first save the cheerleader then save the world??? anyone understand what im saying??
StorminNorman
10-19-2006, 02:17 AM
Basically here is the way I see it.
There are 3 groups. The Heroes, Mr. Glasses and Friend and Government, and Sylar (with perhaps a few allies).
Sylar is behind the Nuclear Blast and perhaps manipulating the Goverment agency. Sylar of course wants to destroy all the heroes - so he would want Claire (who has to be one of the more powerful, especially considering her age). The only question is - does he know about her.
The Government/Mr. Glasses of course knows about her already. They (like every government in comic books) are afraid of metahumans. They want to learn as much as they can about them and hope to control them, or use them to benefit "normal" mankind. They of course would find Claire very helpful medically and would want her. If Sylar is manipulating them, perhaps that is the way Sylar plans on getting Claire.
I think Claire is the key to preventing the Nuclear Blast...somehow. (Maybe the Heroes don't save Claire, Mr. Glasses goes nutso and somehow causes the Nov. 8 accident? - I don't know, I am rambling by this point) The Heroes keep her safe, Nov. 8 is avoided. They dont - Nov. 8 bomb happens.

Probably something to do with how shes going to be a catalyst for the whole thing. My theory is that Sylar is going to kill her, and HRG is going to set off the nuke to get rid of Sylar because he killed her little girl.
Save the cheerleader, save the world.

I have a slightly different take on the slogan "Save the Cheerleader, Save the World". I'm thinking that with her 'healing factor/ regeneration/ invulnerability' powers (and Peter's ability to mimic those powers), she would be the one to stop the blast at the detonation point. She can't really die, just reform.
I think the guy chasing her in Isaac's' painting is her father. From there, they discover Mr. Bennet's (Glasses Man) master plan to wipe out NY of its 'Heroes' with an bomb (yes, it's a bad plan, but what psycho villian really thinks through their ideas). By saving her, they save the world.

Makes sense. If Token can nullify the Heroes powers, and he was right by Nathan's side, then Nathan wouldn't be unable to do crap.

Where did you get the name "Token" from? Is that the characters name? OR are you make a stereotypical reference?
Your speculation is based on if the characters powers are to nulify other abilities. I'm thinking his powers is more like neural scrambling, disrupting brain waves, not specifically powers.

It's a little hard to tell what everyone's predictions about saving Claire are, but I'm thinking it might not have to do with her powers, or being necessary to stop the explosion, etc., at all.
Claire's dad has some pretty sinister connections, and if the Powers are going to form a team, she can't be anywhere near him or the others will be in danger. We've already seen what happened with Matt, and it would happen again. I also think she's a second generation hero, and explains why she started off more powerful than the others. She keeps talking about her adopted parents, and I'm starting to believe that we've already met one of them, either Matt or Nathan.
Like a lot of other people, I also think Niki's not one of the "Heroes". Her husband is a criminal, her power causes her to kill people, and she's not been given a very clean track record so far. The two-minute-preview just cemented my concerns with her character.
One last thing, the effects for flight that we've seen so far, and the little clip of Hiro teleporting, are excellent. I was worried there might be hokey dynamic takeoffs and colored energy flares to represent them, but it doesn't look that way.
I also think that it doesn't have to deal with Claires powers, but the fact that her adopted dad "Glasses Man" has such a strong connection to her, that he wants to protect her from whatever. Its the classic Father/Daughter scenario. I believe that she may be accidently killed, like either disentergrated, or beheaded to the point where she can't regenerate, which causes her adopted father to go crazy and really go after the heroes full time, thus creating are first super mad villian per say.

BlazingBread, IGN did a set visit to Heroes and future Hiro is supposed to be 4-5 years in the future.
Cool episode, wonder is Issac will learn how to paint the future without drugs after seeing Peter do it. Guess we know what the first half of the season plot is Save the Cheerleader, then we'll get Save the World in the second half. I think Nathan's characterization is perfect for the role he's playing, in public he's a nice guy, in private a dick that will try anything to get ahead.

He seems to be a prick when it comes to anything regarding the election, and his brother, i.e., selling out Peter at the rally, trying to pay him off to leave town, because it was bad for the campaign. As far as Niki in Vegas, I don't believe that cheating on your wife makes you Captain A-Hole.

I kinda agree. Heroes is only 5 eps in, and it's kicking ass royally. IMO, it's better than LOST. LOST was great the first two seasons, but now it's just so over ****ing hyped, that I can't stand the new season. With Heroes, it's looking like it has a nice clean plate ahead of itself. I mean, it's the biggest series opener for NBC in FIVE years.

It's not really fair to compare the two. Heroes has 5 eps and Lost 51. Plus, I think Heroes is gonna be more like 24 than Lost, one threat per season. Lost is much bigger, each season building on the previous one.

It's probably just a case of his powers originally manifesting while he was high, so he has it in his head that he has to be high to use them.

WOW...this show is sooo darn good! I'm just stunned as to how good it's gotten over the weeks...WOW...okay enof gushing over it. Every character is developing nicely at this point, and that's a real surprise for a ensemble cast...I like them all!
- The Flight scene was awesome, and I'm curious to see the extend of Nathan's powers...evidently, he can do machspeed, and he must generate some kinda field to protect himself and immediate objects, since his clothes didn't tear off, plus his landed rough, but didn't break ever bone in his body or scorch his skin.
- Peter and Issac...cool, as Peter finally is beginning to understand his ability. I think he's a proximity mimic, since so it's a matter of how long does he retain the ability, and is it up to the origin's power level...it's going to interesting when he meets brother from another planet.
- Hiro....well he's just being Hiro. I wondering as to the range of Hiro's ability. He can bend Time-space, but how selective is he with that ability? The future Hiro evidently can precisely control it, but he also stated it was VERY VERY risky for him to even be there. Hmmmm....
- Micah evidently has some kinda ability, so it's going to be interesting to see what it is. Nikki is the hulk-lite, as next week preview looks like DL is going to feel the wrath of a woman scorned. His ability of phasing is cool as well, but I'm wondering if he can do an asborbing man and take the properties of those objects he comes into contact with, or is it like that guy on Mutant X, who could increase and decrease his density?
Man-o-man...too bad it's another WHOLE week for the next episode.

Well, people are "lopsided" in real life...
But yeah it would have made more sense if after seeing Nathan fly Hiro offered him the use of his cell phone and then bought him the shirt and coffee...after all, who has money in their pajamas? Then Nathan giving Hiro a ride would have been more believable.

Question about Hiro and Peter and the scene in the train with the future Hiro, do you think Hiro has the ability to drag anybody into his space/time manipulations, or could he only do that to Peter because of his latent mimicking abilities?
The latter would make sense of him going to Peter and not Mohinder or any others.

Finally watched it this morning. And man do these episodes just keep better & better.
-Nathan flying was nice. At first it looks him & black dude are about to throw it down with the stances they were taking. Then boom! Nathan takes off leaving the 2 eating dust. :word:
-Future Hiro. Was that it ? Damn I hope we see more of him down the road. From the way he was talking. I guess he came back on his own will and not on behalf of someone else. Like an order or mission. I'm guessing there's a chance that just like Trunks from DBZ with the whole timeline ****. That everyone is dead and Hiro is the only one left. I kinda got a feeling from future Hiro that Pete is defitnitly dead. He probably died from a big battle where he was the only amongst the group that had a chance to win against whomever the villian is.
-Ando. That's funny how he just walks into the house. Looking like a tired dad that just got off of work. "Honey I'm h .... oh **** !!!!"
-That scene with Pete leeching off of Issac's skills was tight. It can serve as an wake-up call to Isacc that you don't need to get high silly. :oldrazz: The painting was scary though. Sylar standing over Claire's corpse. Which looked like is missing more that just the top of it's head. :csad: :cmad:
-So the raping QB is still alive huh ? Just a damn shame :cmad: Loved what Claire's father did to him. Personally I would've gone with the bullet to the dome. But I guess wiping the kid's entire memory could work too.
Preview to next week's episode ...

I agree. He is relating the preminitions to his being high, but now that he has seen Peter do it without being high, I think he will seek help. Also, in the two minute preview posted in another thread, HRG comes to see him in some sort of hospital enviroment, which could be a rehab center.

Isn't it interesting, that of all the characters we've been introduced to, only Sylar has exhibited multiple abilities, both explicitly, and implied.
He's shown us:
Flight (could also be telekenesis)
Telepathy (with the gun and the agent)
Telekenesis, or super strength (person posted to railing in house)
Mutant detection? (akin to Callisto, of the morlocks)
And some form of invulnerability (bullets falling to floor?)
It's strange that he's the only character with multiple powers. It's strange that he has a predilection for removing the skull cap, and taking the brain. His references to "hunger" are also strange. I would wager that Sylar is something akin to Nathan's brother's power. Though less of a Mimic, and more of a Rogue in the Ms Marvel way. What if Sylar is simply amassing power, by stealing the powers of other mutants? His hunger simply for power.
In that light, saving the cheerleader could actually save the world. If he were able to acquire her regenerative abilities, along with the abilities he's already acquired, he could be nigh on impossible to stop. A virtual superman.

Nathan's flight looked pretty damn good, just the way he took off and had that little "poof" gave me tingles :D.
Also, Claire's dad was pretty badass. I thought for sure he was going to put a bullet in the kid, but what he did was way better. That made the episode for me - Nathan is HAWT. That whole scene where he manipulates the woman into giving him $4 million dollars, followed by that wicked grin of his, was fantastic.
And I must say, I have not found a reason to dislike Daddy Glasses. Opening a can of psychic-amnesia-whoopass on Brody was classic.
Plus, I like Claire again! She admitted what she did was wrong, she even apologized for it (although I think this was a little much, it went a long way to redeeming her in my eyes), but she told her dad the truth. AWESOME!
I'm actually beginning to think that Claire might be a weapon to be specifically used against Sylar, and maybe that's why Daddy Glasses adopted her in the first place.

He'll probably end up being a sort of the means justify the ends type of character. Good intention but evil methods.
Great episode. The Peter/Isaac scenes gave me goosebumps. Terrific music and a real feeling of dread.
Nathan calmly asserting he's gonna kill bad dad and sidekick then zooming off - the badass congressman of all time.
Glad Hiro and Ando are back together. Now it looks like there going to be meeting Peter and Isaac.
Peter's mimic power seems to have some staying power. He drew the future stick drawing quite a while after being in contact with Isaac.

Isn't it interesting, that of all the characters we've been introduced to, only Sylar has exhibited multiple abilities, both explicitly, and implied.
He's shown us:
Flight (could also be telekenesis)
Telepathy (with the gun and the agent)
Telekenesis, or super strength (person posted to railing in house)
Mutant detection? (akin to Callisto, of the morlocks)
And some form of invulnerability (bullets falling to floor?)

All of these could be a form of telekenesis. The mutant detection thing was done by Mohinder's father as well, who most likely doesn't have powers at all.

I just wanna say 2 things...
1. I knew Hiro itentionally didn't stop time to get himself and Ando out of trouble from last weeks ep because he wanted to show Ando the consequences of their actions for exploiting his power to cheat at the poker tables. I had mentioned this last week somewhere just to put all that to rest.
2. Nathan flying....that sh** gave me goosebumps...especially since before he flew away...he said "i've seen your faces, I'll come back for you" sounds like a threat! Speaking of his take-off...how bout that landing?! Great special effects...and a great moment between Hiro and Nathan.

He is. Remember the phone message Mohinder found on his father's answering machine from Sylar in the first or second episode? His father apparently was working with him, or trying to figure out his powers.
If I remember correctly, Sylar blames Mohinder's father for making him the way he is in the message.
I'm pretty sure Mohinder found one of his father's books in Sylar's apartment, too.

^ Soooo cool!
And here's what SHH! reported.
Heroes Delivers Best Ratings to Date
Source: Variety October 24, 2006
Variety reports that NBC's Heroes delivered its best ratings to date on Monday night:
According to preliminary nationals from Nielsen, "Heroes" (6.2 rating/15 share in adults 18-49, 14.3 million viewers overall) was up nearly 10% week to week to log the highest regular-slot 18-49 score for a first-year drama in the past two seasons. It was up a big 55% over NBC's non-sports average in the timeslot last season.
In related news, the Hollywood trade paper says that Jack Coleman, who plays the hit drama's mysterious Mr. Bennet, has been made a series regular. He'll join the series full time in its 11th episode.
Coleman plays the father of Claire Bennet (Hayden Panettiere), the cheerleader at the center of the show's current "Save the Cheerleader" story arc.
The actor's character is also known as "H.R.G." - short for "Horn Rimmed Glasses," a strange figure who is seen kidnapping people (including Greg Grunberg's character, Matt Parkman) and experimenting on them.
So Mr. Bennet will play more than his part.

There's acutally a Marvel character call Mimic - "He can copy the powers of other mutants around him. This ability is limited to five powers at a time, and at only half the potency of the original possessor of that power. Mimic is currently using the powers of Cyclops, Colossus, Northstar, Wolverine, and the Beast. He also has some residual telepathy from when he mimicked the abilities of Jean Grey."

Sylar may be like Rogue though(taking peoples brains and having what seems to be a lot of powers). And from what peter finished in the picture, Sylar will be killing Claire, taking her powers then blowing up NY.
Sylar is the antithesis of Peter...whereas Peter can mimic other's ability for a short period, and Sylar "steals" their ability by "eating" their brains, and permanently acquiring the abilities, thus making him stronger. The danger of him getting Claire's ability is that he will be able to re-gen, and with all his stolen powers, he would be a god. It's going to be interesting if common knowledge of these individuals becomes common knowledge or not. As for Nathan...the guy doesn't add up at this point. Here's the thing...HE CAN FLY SUPERSONIC, and he's got a ego the size of the sun...he just seems a bit non-chalant about his ability...A flying freak would wield far more power than a simple congressman...imho.

Just caught the episode on NBC.com (where it seemed to lag like crazy and was chopped into 6 parts, all of which starting with the same damned car commercial). I'm not sure why NBC is offering the episodes of a hot show for free a day later on their official website; logic would state that it would effect TV ratings if fans knew they could just watch it any time after Monday on the website. But fortunately TV viewers rarely show any logic as ratings seem to be up 10% from there already healthy numbers. HEROES is a hit. Perhaps the "official" online offerings are done deliberately so that "unofficial" DL's like BitTorrent and especially YouTube don't take a bite. And also probably to maintain the buzz.
So, is the show that Jay Leno just described as, "The X-Men crossed with the X-Men" still hot by episode #5?
For me, yes.
Sure, HEROES isn't perfect. It's full of generic TV stereotypes and some plot issues if you want to go looking for them, but as a whole for me it manages to hook you along without revealing too much, but each episode at least feels like something worthwhile is accomplished; some serials can't balence between "suspenceful leading" and "decompressed plodding". Hell, a lot of comics can't manage that.
The episode gets off with a bang when Peter meets "Future Hiro", who, like Trunks, is cooler in the future than he is in the present, who decides to risk shattering the time continuum to give Peter some "plot device" clues to help him along. Then Nathan is dragged out from his night with "Were-Nikki" by Mr. Bennet and his apparently psychic (and speachless) black minion, when he is surprisingly able to punch free and then fly off...at seemingly sonic speeds. Matt, who was "wiped clean" by Mr. Bennet's helper after his fight with Syler, returns home to his wife with no memory of the past day, but using his telepathy to read all her wants and fulfll them to the letter; I can imagine every wife in the audience now wants a psychic husband with a pension. ;) Matt leaves to get ice-cream after a "reconcile", only to use his powers to dissuade a gunman from robbing the store, before passing out from "overload" after he is confused for the robber himself. Claire tells her scary father about her incident, after which Bennet has his man-slave (what? That's what the guy is! Toldja about stereotypes) render the jock an amnesiac. Mohinder doesn't belive Peter's story, but Peter investigates the lead anyway, meeting up with Isaac and "copying" his power (without the use of heroin, natch) to finish one of his paintings which seems to fortell Claire's death at the hands of Syler. Nikki goes about her usual schtick and finds out her crook husband D.L. has escaped prison. Hiro and his buddy split up, with Hiro getting to meet Nathan while the latter has a run in with the cops protecting Nikki. At the end, Peter is there to intercept one of Hiro's calls to Isaac to deliver a message. And Nathan is told by Nikki of the mobster's plan to bankroll and then blackmail them, and uses that to his advantage to get more money; seemingly not caring about becoming a "bought" Congressman.
Oh, and Peter's eyes turn all white like CHILDREN OF THE CORN when he uses Isaac's "Future-Paint" power.
Considering that flight by itself is often depicted as rather useless in comic books (hence why Angel usually has stunk without metal wings), HEROES manages to make it look quite cool with their first opening scenes, which is a worthy effort. Peter being an "omni-power" works well for the plot (as that power often does), and the theory that Syler may be simular is also a good one; he obviously will have to be powerful enough to fight many "heroes" at once. Out of all of them I still don't care much for Nikki and Claire, but I don't hate them and their storylines are improving. Out of all of them, Nathan still seems like the one who is least "heroic" in that pure, noble sense. He's more interested in his own ambition and interests while the others are either confused (Claire, originally Peter), eager to do something positive (Matt, Hiro, Peter, Isaac), or want to be positive but had to work out of manipulation, which is Nikki. While the female characters of HEROES have gotten the more "physical" powers classically given to male characters (regeneration, an enhanced "alter ego"), the male characters are still more assertive in their storylines, as Nikki & Claire are mostly in "reaction" mode.
The "save the cheerleader, save the world" bit was a little heavy handed thanks to the promos, but that's a minor quibble. I can see that with the characters starting to intertwine and mobilize, their stories won't be as fragmented, which is good. Hopefully the season finale has a payoff and doesn't just rely on endless cliffhangers. But that's a few weeks away.

Something I didn't see mentioned yet...
When Mr. Mean-Dad and Mr. You-Can't-Use-Your-Powers-Around-Me were about to tackle Nathan again, I was thinking to myself "Ohhh!! He's gonna fly away!!"
"But wait! He won't be able to use his powers with Mr. YCUYP there..."
and then ZOOM!! Off goes Nathan.
Which makes me think...how long has Nathan been doing this? He's apparently much farther along with learning to control and focus his ability if he can use it with Mr. YCUYP there...
Here's another strange thought.....Could Ando be Sylar??
Either way, I have a feeling SOMETHING wrong is going to happen to Ando that makes Hiro go from Happy-Go-Lucky to what he was in the future. Future Hiro's been though some #$@*.

I lol'ed as sylar moved back the curtain, I just KNEW that guy would be there because of what he said to brody. that was a great scene.
that cop is really making me want to be telepathic. Finally, someone real who has that power and does things a human being would with it. But I think when his wife finds out, she'll be really pissed about him "invading" her privacy, but I don't think she should be.
How freaking awesome was that scene when Peter started drawing?! The way they built it up was perfect, with him starring at the picture, just wishing it could be completed. and the effects, they really put us in his seat.
At the end, I was so glad Hiro finally got through, and when he said his name "Hiro" (Peter already met his future counterpart), I knew the connection was complete.
what's the deal with nikki anyway? Does her counterpart have super strength or something? What exactly are the powers of her other self other than being a ***** and a slut? Does she have strength, cause she keeps on dropping tough guys like they're nothing.

With Claire, I think the reason that the doctors didn´t react to her being ok is because they, like all of us, simply except the reality with which we are presented. It´s a lot simpler to belive that she was simply very lucky and escaped from the car crash un hurt then it is to think she somehow regened.
Man, when Nathan flew I was nearly green with envy. Flying is so the power I would most want to have, it may not be the most useful but it sure seems like the most fun one to have.

I must say this show has potential. On the other hand. There seems to be plot holes almost every episode. Plus they don't go into detail about each persons powers. For instance.
Nathan, can fly right? Is he still vulnerable? Like if Superman flies into a building he is cool, because the sun has his back. What about Nathan? Going that fast if he hits a building or a rock. Heck if pebble comes out of nowhere. It could cave in his skull.
I am slowly feeling that this is show is going slower than it needs to. Leaving cliffhangers unnecassarily. For me Lost go slow because I don't really know anything about that world. Where as anyone that has grown up with super Heroes pretty much knows where this show is heading.
I really hope that they pick up the pace a little bit. Not much, but just a little bit.

Hmm...you're probably right.
I guess I always just saw him as more of a power-blocker than a mental-blocker...but I suppose mental-blocker works more hand-in-hand with his memory-wiping power.
Also, if he is a power blocker, people can sometimes get around it. When they had Matt, Mr. Bennet said he couldn't read his mind because of his "friend", but then Matt asked who Claire was and Bennet realized that his power was further along than they thought. Its possible Nathan was further along than they anticipated as well.
And the sonic boom was awesome. I totally didn't expect that, especially after see the preview all week. That was a great way of keeping us from being desensitized by the commercial.

I dont think we will see much of Brody - he is no longer Brody, he is an empty shell. I am wondering what happened to Matt though, he is perfectly normal now...how does that happen? He's not normal - he had that freakout.
Although I really like his character, throughout the entire episode I kept thinking, "Uh, Mel Gibson called. He wants the plot points from What Women Want back."

How no? That's pretty much the plot of the movie.

what? it's mohinder. i don't remember future hiro speaking with a middle eastern accent.
it is mohinder. whoever said it was future hiro is just getting way too excited about a character that may or may not exist in the future if the heroes stop the bomb. he was on screen for 2 minutes. he said nothing cool. and mohinder's not middle eastern, he's indian. that's south asian. plus he's speaking in a british-like accent that someone from india would most likely have. people of indian descent get hella offended when someone makes that makes mistake.

you're stupid. it's going alot faster than alot of other tv shows, so chill out and enjoy it.
For future record calling a person stupid right off the bat. Can result in a person not listen to what you have to say.:whatever:
I am enjoying it for now, but in about 2 seasons I could see you being one those people (like some lost fans) who are bi**hing because it going to slow. People need to chill out. This is only the 5th show, & people are acting like it is end all be all. Some of you are going to look foolish if this shows plot holes keep getting bigger, & bigger.[/quote]
they themselves probably don't know the extent of their powers. they don't have star labs to analyze every little facet. you think nathan is going to go to a scientist and ask,"hey can you tell me why my skin doesn't rip off when i fly at superspeeds? you think it could be some super inpenetrable forcefield generated as a side effect?" or do you want some yellow box to appear on screen and explain every little detail? grow up.
No I don't want a little yellow box to appear on screen.:whatever:
Look the simple fact is that there are plot problems that if not resolved could be a problem later. Key word LATER! I really hope they clear these up.

Not much, but just a little bit.
it's common sense nathan isn't invulnerable. didn't you see him scratch up his feet a little bit when he landed?
i can't believe anyone is complaining about the show going too slow! I wish they'd slow it down more. In my opinion, that things that have happened so far should've taken 10 episodes.

Sounded like Future Hero to me. Hominder's accent is TOO accentuated, at least on the first episode.
um, I can't believe anyone thinks that's hiro. get your ears checked buddy. even on the very first episode before I knew who any of the characters were, I knew the narrator had a middle eastern accent.
