Who has the best fighting style in Naruto

Out of the ones you've given us to choose from, its Neji.
Not only is it stated that he is the best taijutsu fighter among the rookie ninja, but he also beat Rocklee several times while Lee has defeated him none. And the fact that Lee is stronger than Neji must mean his fighting style and strategy gives him the edge. The gentle fist style is also stated to be the best fighting style in all konoha.

You take away chakra, Byakugan, and Gentle, it's an automatic Rock Lee win.

He's Gai's protege... you honest think Neji is the better taijustu fighter? Give Lee the opportunity to become Jounin, and master the gates... and Neji won't stand a chance.


As far as the best fighting style, I honesetly think it's Naruto. He has his own chakra, which is it's self is damn near endless, couple that with the fact that he has a back up chakra reserved that's ifinitly more powerful than his own.

i voted for Neji on the basis that even a guy that is a 100 could perform the gentle fist style and still do very well. Rock Lee has to train twice as much to be in peak physical condition for his style. Neji is fluid and such and Rock lee's attacks are to head on when he is not drunk, so says Kimimaro

Without chakra, Neji has nothing but base taijutsu, and we've yet to see him use that with out gentle fist.

When he isn't drunk his moves are forward and predictable. When he was fighting Kimimaro he wasn't doing that well till he asked to drink his medicine which was not and he started to do a lot better. My bad on spelling for akatsuki. This is a great picture. Oh in addition with drunken fighting Brad Wong is a practicioner and is great in DOA.

Naruto has no where near the best fighting style. Yes he is like the strongest genin aside from Sasuke, but I thought this topic was about who could fight better, not who could win in a fight.

You also have to take in to account he was out of commision for a good while with a shattered left arm and leg.

Naruto has no where near the best fighting style. Yes he is like the strongest genin aside from Sasuke, but I thought this topic was about who could fight better, not who could win in a fight.

..as far as Taijitsu goes, Rock Lee has a huge advantage being that its his only form.
I agree with Oaky on this....but then again I don't know enough about Naruto to think this through enough to give an good response.

If lee's style is the best then that would make Sasuke the best fighter. Since he can copy it with his Sharingan and do a technique that is almost like Lee's but not hurt himself performing it? When Lee had the spiked curry was great not sure how long that was after his operation though since i hadn't taken that into consideration. Sakura's taijutsu is distorted. Tsunade could have easily killed kabuto when she punches him but didn't and Sakura has the same technique so?

No it doesn't. The Sharingan gives the copy of the actual act... but it doesn't give the stamina. Just because Sasuke can copy Lee's Taijutsu, doesn't mean he has the physical capibiltiy of constantly using it. If you put Lee and Sasuke in a fight, sure Sasuke may win, but only because he can predict the next move because of the Sharingan. You take away the limit, and Lee would win the battle.

It's one thing to copy a move, but if you can't use it to it's full potential (Sasuke doesn't have the trained stamina that Lee has with Taijutsu), you pretty much stuck in a rut.

And never use anything in the anime after the Rescue Sasuke Arc as any type of basis for the Characters. It's all filler...

In Episode 124, "Wild Beast Explosion! Like a Bullet Fired to Pierce!" Gai told Tsunade clearly that when Lee uses the Drunken Fist technique his strength is increased immesurably. Of course Gai was probably embellishing on the 'immesuarble' portion but there has to of been some increase since it took Neji and Gai to restrain him. So in addition to his fluid motion and speed he must be stronger as well.

Ah yes, as to the vote, I'm going for Naruto as well. More so because he's not using any prescribed, ancient, style of fighting. It's all his own and I enjoy the originality of it all.

Yeah, if you take away Superman's strength, flight, and laser vision; Batman could probably beat him. You can't just remove Neji's skills and pit him against Lee.

No, don't close it. But I just realised I spend my time in too many "vs/who's better" threads debating/arguing over what fictional character can beat who and I also just realise how pointless it is in the end. I just didn't want to continue debating this because I felt it would turn into another one of those threads.
BTW:I like RockLee 10 times more than Neji, but I still believe in my opinion that Neji fights better.

i always liked garaa & konkuro's fighting style. garra with his sand, & konkuro with his puppets. i think these two charcters have a very original, innovative, & creative fighting style. all the other character's fighting styles are just to basic.
