I can only assume that you're not very familiar with what Batman is capable of doing. This is a guy who goes up against metahuman powerhouses like Solomon Grundy or Killer Croc, master martial artists like Lady Shiva, and all the various crazies of Gotham on a regular basis. He's fought animate clones of Doomsday, White Martians, and even Superman himself on occasion. And he does this all without ever needing to pick up a gun like Punisher.

I'm not one of the guys around here that thinks Batman should be absolutely untouchable and unbeatable, but he ain't one of DC's Big Three (and I'd probably say the most popular superhero in all of comics these days) for nothing. Punisher's cool in his own right, but he's got no chance in hell against the Bat.

Batman is at least 10 - 20 years younger than the Punisher, so naturally he should be faster, more agile, stronger.

Batman is one of the top 10 martial artists in the DCU, the Punisher is not near that level in the MU

Batman doesn't need guns and deals gunfire on a nearly nightly basis.

I think people underestimate Punisher. He is far from a loon with a gun. He has beaten DareDevil, even supposedly could take out Spider-Man. Punisher understands tactics and warfare better than anyone in the Marvel Universe. For example in Garth Ennis Punisher MAX he predicts and sets up a massacre of an entire family of gangsters (were talking about 50-60 people). Punisher is noteable for being able to plan and "prep" for battle. He sets traps, he learns and studies his opponents and he kills, without remorse those who oppose him.

If we assume for a minute he believes Batman is a criminal, as opposed to a vigilante (like DareDevil). He could very well beat and kill Batman. Batman may be excessively well trained, but Frank Castle has far more years of experience and the same resolve and will of Batman. And certainly a man who travels the major cities killing mobsters is not making many friends. More to the point, unlike Batman, Punisher has no secret identity to keep him safe out of costume. He must be alert and ready at all times. And considering Frank is on the run from both criminals and the FBI, he does a stellar job.

Draw. 5-5 out of 10 fights.

Once you have them, go to your User CP and Edit Profile. In there will be a box where you can change it to whatever you want.

As for everything else...

For a small avatar (picture on the side of your profile), you need 300 posts, for a medium one 3000, for a large one 6000.

For a sig (text under your post) you need 200.

i'd have to say Batman...Yes Punisher maybe a man in effect without a will to live or fear but he is still to rash when he attacks.Batman stalks and can do for as long as needed.He would ba able to out smart Punisher whether traps are set or not. Batman uses a larger portion of his periferal vision and will observes his surroundings alot faster then the average guy.He is skilled over all more so than Punisher.Martial Arts and and his pace would be far more a match than Punisher with any arsenal of weapons.

If you can't tell, DC's Confidential line and Wolverine Origins are among my pet peeves in the comic industry. Nobody needs an ongoing series about their freaking origins. There's enough Year One obsession in miniseries.

Actually it does. Punisher has to be alert and prepped at all times. He has to worry about someone killing him when he sleeps, eats and takes a piss. Batman only has to worry about these things in costume (for the most part).

See, original batman was clever, he used guns, but now, punisher wold kill bats, what is batman gonna do against grenade launchers, chainguns etc?
